pretty good for business
I was traveling on business. The location was great, as well as the staff. I would have liked to have had fresh fruit on the buffet and more of a selection such as bagels. The eggs were also really watery, but overall, it was still good.

Family visit
It was ok, there was a sealed cup with water in it in the ice bucket, bad housekeeping. Plenty of plugs for charging phones and computers. TV was not HD and not a great selection of things to watch. Pillows were king size and great, bed was comfortable. Big shower!

There is a shopping outlet directly across the road, there are several near by restaurants, the hotel is within 10 to 15 mins from the Airport, 10 minutes from Southpoint Mall, and 15 minutes from downtown Durham.

The hotel looks new, the staff were great and my bed was unbelievably comfortable. Five stars in my book, it was well worth the price.

Beware!
The hotel falsely accused me of smoking in their room. Am not a smoker. Instead of resolving the situation the management insisted that someboy had smoked in the room. The only person in the room was me. It is scary that a company can do this.

One of the worst stays of my life!!!!
This was my first time in NC and I'm sorry to say this but this was the worst trip I've ever had in my life! The hotel looked so nice, new until I checked in..... The beds are awesome to say the least, but I will never never go back there again. The front desk staff acted like they didnt want to be there and the bar /restaurant staff acted as if they didnt know what was goin on. The food was terrible and the prices are ridiculous for the quality of food you get. I had to inform my boss that the next time he books a hotel let me check it out first online!!!!

Great Hotel,Fantastic Location
Great location for business travel. Close to the airport and close to major major highways. Staff at hotel were extremely nice and also very professional.

Hidden Charges
Great stay until after we left and a $100 charge was charged to my account with out any type of warning. Plus I am now waiting for a couple of days for the "hold" for incidentals, which did not occur and got a final invoice that there was 0 balance and nothing charged to the card. Plus I never signed anything or was told this was being done! Waiting to hear from a GM of the hotel now...

bad help
Am manager (22nd ) was a smart blank I had aranged for the van to take me to Hertz rental at 7 am I was in the resturant eating (20ft away) when I was finished (7:07) I went up to the desk and the desk person (shirt tail out)told me that the bus left and that he called my room, When I asked him why he didn't annouce the van leaving he said they don't do that and the van would be back in 20 min, I exspressed my disapointment in the fact that he showed no effort to see if I was in the resturant, when the van came for some reason he got in the passenger side and asked the driver to drop him off on the way at a gas station, when he got out of the van he told the driver (sarcasticly) you better hurry this guy has a 2 million dollar deal I told the van driver (who was very apoligetic) that what a shame that the hotel was great until that point, I am in that area four times a year and as you know there aree plenty of choices and it looks like I may have to try one
