Raleigh hotel by RDU and the Triangle operates 24-hour airport shuttle
Casual style characterizes Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, an 87-room property near Research Triangle Park and local universities. A 24-hour airport shuttle saves visitors from having to arrange travel, while a free daily breakfast buffet and library with loaner books are reliable amenities. Rooms and suites are equipped with mini-refrigerators and microwaves to store and heat leftovers. Extended stay travelers also take advantage of the full kitchenette, which comes with a stove, cookware and utensils.

Unbeatable location for the price
I really really enjoyed my accomodations at the Country Inn. I went down with family for my son's graduation from Duke. In all I reserved 4 rooms. The rooms were large , clean, and comfortable. The beds sublime. I worried about bedbugs but there was no cause. Breakfasts were more than continental - Really a +. The staff was pleasant. I would have preferred all our rooms be together instead of 2 on the 4th floor and 2 on the 2nd but they said that was because I went through a 3rd party . Is's really off the beaten path, good if you want to be near the airport but a little distant from Duke's campus. The staff didn't clean our room after the first night but overall I enjoyed my stay, would definitely recommend them and would book again! It compares very favorably with previous trips I've taken.

Excellent stay

Nice hotel, very close to airport
It's very convenient to call the hotel to send a shuttle to pick me at airport. And nice location, I could easily go to the closet outlet, and do some shopping. Hotel receptionist gave me the address, very kind.

Nice, roomy and clean
The hotel was very close to RDU. Shuttle took a little long but the hotel was very nice, very large room, very comfortable bed and decent breakfast.

Country Inn & Suites-second trip
The breakfasts were good with plenty of choices. The front desk helped us with transportation to the hotel from the car rental location which didn't offer to take us back to the hotel when we dropped off our car. Every employee was friendly and accommodating.

The Chop House Restaurant next door is the only dining option without a car available. The food is excellent but pricey.
