hotel sheets had blood stains, wall paper had glue on it pictures had no resemblence to what hotel looked like

Microtel - Clean Safe stay
Clean, cheap hotel. Great if you need a place to sleep. If you're looking for extreme luxury like the Westin you will not find it here but it was cheap and clean and located in a safe area.

Clean, inexpensive hotel not far from Charlotte
This place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the price wasn't bad at all. I stayed here while traveling to Charlotte on business and the 20 minute commute was fine. Nearby restaurants and gas stations were convenient too. Internet access was included in price of room but there was a community iron and ironing board which you had to call the front desk to request. Other than that, no complaints and I'd book here again.

After a glitch, no serious complaints
When I arrived and checked in, I was handed a key to a room that had NOT been made up! But when I returned to the lobby and explained, the clerk gave me a key to a new (clean!) room along with a profound apology, so it was only a minor annoyance. The room itself was adequate to my needs (only a place to rest overnight). The items on the breakfast buffet, the next morning however, were rather unappetizing, so I gave it a miss. Also, the orange juice dispenser was marked "out of order," leaving only apple juice on offer. Someone might want to look into that. Otherwise, I have no real complaints.

weekend in charlotte
It was good. breakfast was helpful and the rooms were small but clean. the staff was helpful and timely. will stay there again for the low rates.

Not bad on a budget
This hotel was not bad stay just the rooms are a little smaller but on a budget this hotel isn't bad at all.

Great Hotel
Went to Charlotte for the Nascar truck and Allstar race. I choose this hotel mainly because of location and price. It was an easy drive to the track since the hotel is just off of 485. About a ten minute drive to the track. For the price this was a great deal. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. Only improvement that I saw they needed was to have shampoo in the room.
