Motel 6 Lumberton

it was good. the beds and pillows were souft as cotton so i didnt toss and turn all night trying to get them right. I wasn't woke up early by rude housekeepers banging on the door 30 - 45 mins before checkout, which was a plus.. Location right down from 4 gas stations and 3 fast food places. Overall, I'll be back no questions asked.

we watched TV only it was boring..when we had to take a shower we had to pull on the handle out so hard just to get water..my mom had to go get herself another pillow instead of them bringing it to her..the beds were hard i wake up with back pain..the walls were ugly colors the bed was againest the wall where it was hard to get in an out of bed our room wasnt even clean..i will say im upset with stay there and i will not go back it was the wrost motel i stayed in..

I was basically in and out of the hotel, but during my stay I found it difficult to do work because of the noisy interstate and others staying at the motel. Other than that, the rooms were okay and the staff was very helpful.

Small rooms wood floors

We just needed a place to stay overnight on the way to the beach, but this motel was minimal in every way. The floors were laminate (no carpeting), cleaning fluid bottles were left in the room, no extra towels or pillows provided (just the two basic ones), TV remote had the battery taped in (no cover), no pictures or extras as far as furnishings go etc. It was noisy, with other guests walking up and down the walkway and talking or revving up their cars at all hours of the night. The pool was "closed for maintenance" but didn't appear to have been open any time in recent history.

this location is excellent off I95 and nearby restaurants etc The road to motel is tricky,prepare to turn correctly at light. Lots of improvements to this property Nightclub nearby can become noise problem,check in advance for quiet room

My wife and I stayed at the Motel 6 Lumberton while on our way to Myrtle. We arrived late and stayed only one night. We were originally assigned a room right off the highway and it was very noisy. We asked to change rooms and the staff was very helpful in giving us a room that was blocked from most of the highway road noise. The pool was closed when we stayed, so we were not able to take advantage of it. The rooms are good for a single night, but I would not want to stay any longer. There was no remote for the tv, and no bath tub (only a shower).

Staff very friendly and helpful, warned us about nearby nightclub and possible noise. Set us up in a different room and no problem with noise. Good location alongside I95 with food etc. Place clean and modest.

Hey, sometimes you just need a place to crash when on a road trip! If that's your predicament, then take this rest stop for what it's worth. Otherwise, as a Motel 6 fan, I'm disappointed that this location still has furniture from 1983 in it and beds that are way worn out. They also advertised HSI, but then conveniently told me that "it was down" after I checked in. I missed a business call b/c of that, and was upset to say the least. The staff were NOT rocket scientists, either.

We were traveling to Orlando and this was just the stop late at night just to sleep. We got a very cheap price and the room was okay. It was not top quality but just right for sleeping over. It is right by a busy highway/street but the fan/heater tunes it pretty much out.
