Exceptional Value
Evening staff ok but not that inviting. Got the impression I was an inconvience. However the morning staff made up the difference. Just a personal observation. Nothing that would keep me from returning. Denny's adjacent to Hotel was a treat in itself. Discount coupon from Motel and food as well as waitress was very good. Just an overnight stay late at night so can't speak about things to do. Will stay again.

Good value for a fair price
My room was well kept and nicely appointed, and everything was clean and in good working order. The hotel staff was polite, helpful and efficient. This is one of the nicer Holiday Inns I have stayed at, and I would recommend it for business as well as family stays.

Won't stay here again
Someone left a dog in their room 3 doors away from us (Pets are not allowed at Holiday Inns!). The dog barked every time someone passed the room which was on the way to the swimming pool and many people passed by! When I called the front desk the phone rang a long time before anyone answered. The staff said they couldn't do anything but charge the guests a pet fee for extra cleaning. Our room was very dusty and we are allergic to dust. We had stayed here some years ago and were satisfied, but not any more!

Decent Stay
Comfortable, clean room but was woken up by highway traffic in the middle of the night. Front desk staff was abrupt at check-in & had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show at the front desk to checkout. Received coupons for Denny's but for the price of the rooms I would have expected some sort of freebie.

Great location for the mid-way stop
We were driving from Maryland to Florida. Lumberton is a great mid-way location to rest. The hotel is right next to the I-95. Room is clean and quiet.

Nice, Clean Room at a fair price.
Good location right off I-95 and a nice, clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Many good places to eat within a mile of the hotel. Nice stopping point on I-95.

Great hotel for the location
Our baseball team stayed here for a tournament. The kids loved the pool and the on-site Denny's restaurant. The fitness room could be better. Only 4 pieces of equipment. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff was very nice. Front desk personnel could have been more friendly.
