Good Value

I travel on business to this area several times a year. The staff if friendly and the rooms are clean. While the hotel is a little outdated...the functionality and cleanliness is fine for me since all I need is a clean safe place to sleep.

very good hotel

Very good location on the half way to Florida. Free breakfast is OK and there are many food choices nearby. Room is clean, wireless internet is fast and staff are friendly. Only complain is ice on stairs and walkway, which is dangerous for both customer and owner.

Never again

The front staff was very friendly. The breakfast was okay. About what you would expect for free. The rooms were clean. But the rooms were so hot we had to go buy a fan to try and cool them done to sleep. The pool was so dirty we could not allow the kids to swim in it. And this is one of the reason we picked this hotel was for the pool. When we arrived we had no water in the rooms and no one informed us at the desk. When the water did come on 3 hours later it was so brown you could not bath in it. I would not stay here again.

Not so great

I don't ever expect much from a days inn, but this room did not have power outlets by the bed for lamps or cell phones. Our room was by the steps which were quite popular at 2:00 am.

Okay for overnight

Just an overnight stay on the way back from FL. Room was fine, but smelled like cooked cabbage. Nice pool. Accepted pets, but put me on the second floor which made it a little hard to take the dogs out.

Better than just okay.

Convenient location. Little league convention made for a noisy night. I suppose it's not the fault of anyone in particular. Lots of running up and down the walkway until very late. The room was tidy, and the shower was nice and hot.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There is a fantastic little restaurant just a couple doors down. Fullers. You have to eat there if you stay at this hotel. It is first class food!

Not great

The rooms were not very clean. The blanket under the comfortor had stains on it. The ceiling in the bathroom was crumbling. The towels were stained. The internet did not work and when we called for them to fix it, it worked for about an hour before it broke again and went down until the next day. Although the room was non-smoking, we could smell smoke coming in from the outside. Would not stay again.

About a mile up the street is a decent place to eat, "Two Guys". Food was excellent and it was very reasonably priced. Typical food, burgers, sandwhiches, etc. I had a grilled shrimp sandwich, 8 big shrimp with lettuce/tomatoe/mayo between two buns with steak fries for $8. Really good! There is also a Cracker Barrell about a mile from the hotel too, they are always a solid food choice!
