Was only here a few days while on a business trip, so I can't speak to the convenience to beaches and whatnot. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I called to try to figure out what I was doing wrong with the AC and someone came up to my room within 2 minutes to show me how it worked (it was very simple, I'm just an idiot) ;) Another occasion my room key wouldn't work. Someone happened to be standing there fixing a light fixture in the hall-- he let me in my room with the master key and came back up <5 minutes later with a new (working) key. It's nothing fancy and the continental breakfast left a bit to be desired, but if you're expecting a five star hotel, you shouldn't be looking in this price range anyway!

Approx. 1/4 mile to Wright Brothers monument and museum. Had a great time.

Great Vacation
Great place to stay. Nice staff everything was great. The location was perfect, it was only about a 3 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to many other sites!

Clean, good location, nice pool, good value
My only complaint would be the mediocre breakfast items: donuts, bruised apples, and the damned chemical creamers instead of half and half. But those are trivial matters.

Fantastic location, unbeatable price
The hotel was in a wonderful location on the Beach Road in Kill Devil Hills, NC. It was convienient to everything - obviously the beach, shopping, dining, fishing, etc. We had a wonderful time and will be back next year.

Great location, clean, nice room.
Great time. Would have like for the housekeeping staff to have made our beds and just freshened up the room. We stayed 2 nights and when we went out Sat evening, we returned to unmade beds and our dirty towels around the room. We "ASSUMED" they were going to freshen up the room while we were out and they didn't. Otherwise, a great place to stay and we WILL stay there again!
