Ramada Plaza Nags Head Beach

This was a very nice hotel and a very great location. Our only problem was that we went in the beginning of March and a lot of places were closed because their season doesn't start until the end of March. Besides for that, it was a great stay! Whatever you do, don't play with the bird in the lobby though... it will bite you!

Great place to stay. Good location near restaurants, shopping and the beautiful beach of course.

My only problem was our room smelled like a dog had frequently used the bathroom in there. My fellow travel companions rooms were decent though. Warning o guests it is an animal friendly place, so your room may smell like animals. Wear shoes b/c the floor felt digusting, again other rooms weren't that bad.

good clean hotel. view from balcony worth the cost. hotel amenities are good, but the restaurant leaves something to be desired. alternatively, just around the corner is the flying fish. excellent restaurant. the parrot in the hotel is interesting, as is the fox in the greenery between the hotel and the beach. lots of pelicans, and dolphins in the early morning. all in all, a very nice relaxing stay. will go there again.

When we checked in, the helpful man at the front desk told us we would be staying in room 106. This room was at the end of the hall closest to the lobby, diagonal from the elevators, and directly across from vending and the gym. We were disappointed. HOWEVER, there was no excessive noise and since we were on the back of the hotel - our "patio" door opened to a small sitting area and a wooden walkway around the dune to the decks and beach. It was WONDERFUL! Other reviews have commented that it was not clean and the people were not helpful. I disagree with all of that! Everything at the beach feels wet and sticky but the hotel was wonderful, safe, quiet, and clean. I will definitely stay again!

The hotel was in a good location and seemed to be rather modern and up-to-date. The staff was not overly polite but did their job. If you are looking for reasonable pricing and quality, this may be a good choice.

The staff was very nice, and off-peak prices are very reasonable. Good restaurants are within walking distance. The beach in front of the hotel is great and the hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas. Had a great time.

This trip was a must for us. It was a relaxing vacation. It was a great location, and it was very impressive. The hotel staff was very accommodating and the amenities were very adequate to our needs. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas which we used every day. And the beach front was nice and clean. The rooms were very well maintained and the lounge and food service was excellent! The only issue was that that maid service did not get to our room until later in the day almost every day, but that was not necessarily their fault. The hotel was extremely booked. We are already planning our next vacation to stay there.
