Days Inn and Suites Kill Devil Hills-Mariner

This motel is adequate, just the basics but most importantly it is clean. Very pleasant staff.

Was traveling with my children...had plenty of room, refrig, stove and microwave. Hotel had a nice breakfast and great people.

Great location, right on the beach.. Very Clean, and great rates and close to all resturants, would stay again..

Please Read....... First off if you book your room through ORBITZ you will be assigned a street view room.... Traveling 8 hrs to spend a few days in OBX to overlook the road is less than acceptable. For an additional fee of 126.00 the staff will gladly over ride the computer and re assign you to an ocean view room. Secondly the 3rd floor Ocean View rooms are axactly that the third floor with no elevator pack lightly.. Lastly the house keeping staff very graciously knock on your door between 8- 830 am, When I asked if they could come back latter i was very politely told they are trying to get done and go home so I can just go to the front office and request new towels... Nice way to skip cleaning our room. I went to the front desk to inquire if this is the Hotels policy and was told by the clerk "UM Yes Sir they get started early around here" guess no one told them that all of us that travel to OBX are trying to relax and not get up at 7am to accommodate their housekeeping staff......

room was extremely small, is booked as a suite, had a VERY small sitting room and a VERY small bedroom. Would have been better to be opened up to one larger room with a sitting area. Mattress needed to be replaced. Price was very high for what we got. Would never go back there.

Excellent - Very clean room and well kept, nice continental breakfast. Our room was only a few steps from the beach (Sweet). The picnic area and gazebo only sweetened the view. The staff was very knowledgeable on the area restaurants and sightseeing, which were all within a short drive. Not a bad deal for a romantic getaway.

Clean, tidy and well kept and updated fixtures. Nice breakfast. Right on the beach. Was able to check in early and using pool and change room after checking out was not a problem either. Could be cheaper but this is a popular destination in peak season.

This is a great location and have stayed here twice with my family. The free continental breakfast sweetens the deal and when you get done with the beach the outdoor pool is a nice place to relax. Eateries and shops are located within a mile likewise

We loved that it was so close to the beach, we have a 2 year old and it was great for her, the hotel has a picnic area and a gazebo; after the beach we played ball there and had lunch. There is ATM and a good grocery store very close to the hotel. We went to the Aquarium in Roanoke (25 minutes drive). I wish we had more time, we will definitely come back again.

Good continental breakfast and breakfast room. Unfortunately our room was next to the stairwell and we could hear people walking up and down early in the morning. We had an oceanview room, not bad, but the parking lot and pool are inbetween the room and the ocean,so theres a little distance to the water. there's also a bright light pole for the parking lot stopping you from seeing the view near dusk and dawn.
