Needs some TLC

The Econo Lodge is conveniently located less than five miles from Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Camp Geiger. The hotel is just minutes from area attractions like Atlantic Beach, Coastal Carolina Community College and Worthy Is The Lamb, an outdoor drama. The Albert J. Ellis Airport is 20 minutes away. Coastal Plains Raceway and Cape Carteret are 20 miles from this Jacksonville hotel. Myrtle Beach is 120 miles away.

great overnight stay

I booked a king size room with mini fridge, microwave, etc. it was good sized room, room was very clean, staff were all friendly, free complimentary breakfast. I enjoyed my stay.

Nice place to stay

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I wish there were more outlets as I use a VPAP machine for sleeping.

Quality Inn Jacksonville

There was a convention at the hotel while I was there. I actually checked out in the evening because of the cockroaches and the noise. There were people everywhere, the elevator was not working, there was loud music everywhere and people were drunken slobs! The hotel almost ruined my stay in Jacksonville. I tried to speak with the manager to get out of having to pay for the night that I left. He was rude an did not accomodate me in any way shape or form. Unprofessional and

Wouldn't stay again.

The Quality Inn in Jacksonville, NC has good and bad. The check-in staff were wonderful, giving us helpful information on directions and activities in the area. Very friendly staff! The hotel appears old and in need of updating. The room was a standard hotel room, however the recliner in the room was very worn and appeared dirty. The room itself could have been cleaned more thoroughly, however it is an older hotel and there is only so much cleaning staff can do to freshen up an old place. The bed was comfortable - no complaints there. At 2am we were awakened by people fighting outside our room - clearly intoxicated and this continued until 2:25 as they duked it out inside their room, with people being thrown against the walls. This can happen at any hotel - but just colored the opinion of the area the hotel is located. The hotel was booked solid that evening, so we had no other choices available for our stay. Summary - Staff is excellent; hotel needs major updating; Try not to stay on a weekend to limit the party goers that can control their liquor intake.

Expected better for the price

Hey the good thing was the bed was very comfortable... They had window air conditioner/heater and I like that about the hotel. But the balcony to enter the room was exposed to the elements and when it rained the walk way was slippery to the room.
