Days Inn Jacksonville NC

I had expected a little more for the price I paid. There were old cigarette burns in the sheets- I was assigned a non-smoking room. That, other than the disappointing "free breakfast" were my two biggest pet peeves.

We visited our son who has just recently been stationed at Camp LeJeune. This was our first trip to the area and all we needed was a place to sleep that was inexpensive and comfortable. This hotel was just right for the trip. It was stated the rooms had recently been renovated, although the shower curtain rod had been ripped from the wall and was barely holding the curtain up. We didn't hear our neighbors, or kids, or people walking above us. I went to the soda machine to get a drink. When I picked the bottle up there was a business card for an escort service with it. The second night we were there, another service left their business card stuck in our door. Apparently this is the hotel to stay at if that's something you're looking for. There is a bar/restaurant over the main office. When we checked in Fri eve some patrons had started getting out of control, but the police arrived a few minutes after we did, and things were quiet the rest of the night. Saturday night was surprisingly quiet. Though that may have had to do with the storms that passed through knocking the power out to the hotel from around 9p to 3a. So aside from the entertainment, the room was clean and comfortable.

A few areas need to be addressed in the bathroom. First, the toilet paper holder needed to be attached to the wall better and there were paint splatters on it that were not the color of the wall. Also, around the top of the shower enclosure there is a lot of white ceiling paint - care was NOT taken when painting the ceiling! I should also mention that I found a better room at another hotel, a little bigger, more amenities in the room and MUCH cheaper than what I paid for this one.

Upon arrival the door to the registration lobby was locked. Later on the front desk rep admitted it was her second day on the job and it took 20 minutes to check in. Usually this isn't a problem, but I have a broken ankle and was in pain. Finally we got the room keys and we get to our room and the door will open. Finally I had to use my crutches as a battering ram to get the door open. The next morning a spider crawled into my girlfriends bag. This was a terrible hotel experience and never feel compelled to really complain, but I do think I will contact the management and request a refund.

Dirty and smelly. Walked in the room and walked out. Went down the road to Innkeeper. Would never recommend it.

Hotel was very close to Camp Lejune . Hotel even provided printed directions to camp. Hotel office staff were very nice and helpful with directions to other pionts of interest. The only bad thing was the walls had little or no sound proofing. You heard every thing going on around you . Lots of people coming in and out in the early AM.Other than that a nice clean room for the price.

I traveled to Jacksonville N C to see my son off to Japan. My stay was comfortable, pleasant, and fun. The hotel was very clean in appearance and smelled really pleasant.

Just needed a place to spend the night.

when i checcked into room toilet seat was broke told housekeeping nothing was done. toilet kept cloging up. would not stay here again.
