You have to get them yourself because they don't have daily housekeeping service. Hallways smelled like old carpet. Night time front desk staff was super friendly!

Needs to Clean rooms everyday
Carpeting needs to be replaced or do deep clleaning. You could feel the dirt/dust underneath your feet. The lamps need to be given more attention. Dust from the lamps near the bed kept flying in my face. Beds should be changed every day for guests who are on a daily basis. I would not return to this hotel.

Nice People but Horrible Room
The hotel had no record of my reservation - so it was rocky from the start. The people were very nice and helpful but my room was a dump - clean but totally shabby, no screen on the window and it was broken so it could only detach, not open. I was put in a smoking room because it was the only thing available and the smell was terrible even though "they had the windows open for a month so it wouldn't smell so strong." Good grief. 5 minutes gave me a headache. I wish these people worked elsewhere because they were so accomodating and nice but to tell you the truth I couldn't even stand to sleep there and I ended up crashing at my sister's an hour plus away. I also judged all the other people who decided to stay - though I guess they had nowhere else to go. I saw one couple walking in with a pack of beer each - maybe that would take the edge off?

This Hotel Was Disgusting
This hotel is not anywhere near a three star hotel. [...] I repeat, not a three star. I paid extra for a three star because I did not what to encounter what I encountered at this motel. The window was no longer in the track and there was a huge gap...it was in the 30's, the light next to the bed did not turn on, half of the outlets didn't work, the beds had huge stains on the box springs that you could see when you pulled back the bedspread. the carpeting was coming up and dirty, there was no hot water at 7:45 in the morning, the furniture was filthy, the place smelled awful.....[...] I wish I could post the pictures I took. The bus driver from the show in High Point told us it was known as a dangerous place and that the rooms were being rented out monthly to tenants and that it why is was so run down and unsafe!!!!!!

Exceeded Expectations
As a long time 'road warrior', I know my hotels and motels. From 5 star Peabody hotels to literal 'roach motels', I've experienced the great to the disgusting. Our stay was less than 12 hours and simply a place to crash for the night as we were visiting HP University (3 miles ~ 15 minute drive) so I cannot comment on the hotel's amenities except to say that the Wi-Fi does work. However, I would gladly stay again, especially considering the bargain price. Our 3rd floor room was large, exceptionally clean and neat with no signs of wear. Due to the price, there was not, nor did I expect, a lavish supply of goodies. So bring your own toiletries. The beds were very firm but even with my bad back, I slept comfortably. Check-in was quick but the front desk had not opened yet to check-out (before 7 am on a Sat. morning). So I cannot comment on the service factor. For the smokers out there, this is the only decent hotel I could find in all of HP that has smoking rooms. The room had no odor though. The housekeeping staff had obviously left a window partially open and turned up the heat (February). As for the previous complaints about noise, I've learned to always travel with ear plugs. I've rarely stayed in an interior corridor, budget hotel where you don't hear guest rooms doors closing at all hours. To experience silence, you have to move up the cost tier. Bottom Line: Clean, comfortable and cheap.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
Big Ed's Chicken Pit, 105 W. Peachtree Drive, CASH only! Featured in Southern Living magazine. Great BBQ, wings, and homemade chicken pot pie. Hole-in-the-wall, family restaurant that's very popular with the locals due to great food, daily specials, and bargain prices. Beer only served with food order. From hotel, turn left back onto Main Street, and turn right at Peachtree (across from Lowe's Home Improvement). Non-descriptive building on left with gravel parking lot.

Decent for the price
The hotel was clean. There are kitchens in each room. The only thing missing is the hotel does not have an ice machine.

The are very few restaurants in High Point to dine at. If dining on Friday or Saturday reservations are a must.

Perfect location for our needs.
Our trip was planned to attend my grandaughter's Baptism. My daughter and son in law live in High Point and we usually stay at their house. They were having some other out of town guests staying with them and my daughter recommended Crestwood Suites. She had recommended Crestwood Suites to some friends a few years ago and they too loved it. I was really glad that the location was so close to my daughter's house. The room was spacious and clean. I especially liked the kitchen. The rooms were heated comfortably. It will definitely be the place to stay in the future if we need to have a place other than my daughter's house.
