The Quality Inn and Suites hotel is conveniently located on U.S. 321 off Interstate 40, less than two miles from the Hickory Regional Airport. This Hickory hotel is close to the Hickory Museum of Art, the Hickory Furniture Mart, Lenoir-Rhyne College, Lake Hickory and the Hickory Motor Speedway. Visitors will enjoy furniture shopping at the famous 20 Miles of Furniture and the Catawba Furniture Mall, both just three miles away. Local businesses include Merchants Distributors, Inc. (MDI), Corning and Dynisco. The Catawba Valley Medical Center and Frye Regional Medical Center are also nearby.

Good price, old hotel

We've stayed at this hotel a few times over the last 10 years. However, this last stay was very disappointing. The hotel needs a major maintenance overall - new carpet, new tissue holders, new vent covers in hallways (some were hanging open as it appears they are warped). It just seemed very old and felt and appeared unclean.
