The Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at

I was working long days and every time I cam back to the room that I had reserved for 3 nights, My key card would not work. I had to go to the very uncomfortable after hours window with bullet glass and everything to get my key working. I will NEVER stay at a Motel 6 ever again. Not to mention that they did NOT honor the price quoted to me on [...]. I did not feel safe there at all and am Very dissapointed.

Filthy, Dirty

At arrival we spoke with the clerk through a hard to hear glass window, the clerk stayed on the phone the entire transaction ignoring me and acting like I was a bother to him. Upon entering our room, it had a foul odor the carpets were stained terrible and upon pulling down the 1970's bedspread that the seems were coming out of we found hair and stains on the sheets! We stripped the bed (being too late to leave and find another hotel) took the linens to the clerk and rolling his eyes with a huff he went to the laundry room to get us more. We went to a neighboring Dollar store and bought house slippers (to keep from walking on the carpets) blankets (because I still didnt trust the blanket and bedspread and Bleach (we cleaned all the surfaces, light switches and the bathroom. It was the most horrible place ever!

Worn out and tired hotel

This is a typical motel with doors from room to outside. Fortunately the weather was warm because if it wasn't, the draft from the door would have been hard to take. The room was small, the towels little and scratchy. The bathroom had a noticable mold around the ceiling, I guess typical for a southern facility. The airconditioning was difficult to regulate.

Bad Element

I have seen this Motel 6 off I-85 many times but had never stayed there. The area it is located in not a very good place. The neighborhood around the hotel is nice, but the hotel itself had some shady customers there. In fact, when I came back from my dad's house one evening the police were around the corner from my parking spot for some unknown reason. The room's cleanliness was not up to par. There was mold growing in the bathroom. The linens on the bed were ill fitting. The pillows were small and uncomfortable as well as the bed. I suggest looking elsewhere for a hotel in Greensboro, NC, preferably a two star or better. I am not going to stay in a one star hotel again even if it has a decent price.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

About five miles or so from the hotel, there is High Point Rd. which has many restaurants, shops, a convention center, and a mall. There are many things to do in this southern city in North Carolina's Triad.
