Lodge America of Greensboro

Location was great for attending the High Point Furniture Market. Rooms are clean and liked the efficiency kitchen in the room.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in/out was efficient. Hotel was quiet, even on a Friday night. Well-lighted parking lot. Good food nearby. Room was spacious with, kitchenette and full-size frig, which was surprising. The only downside is that the heat in the room didn't work, and the floor in the bathroom was a little dirty.

When we got to the hotel, check-in was very quick and easy with our reservation made through Orbitz. The room was okay, a little musty smelling but once the air was on, it was fine. The bathroom was huge, which was nice, but the water pressure in the shower left something to be desired. Overall the hotel was fine and we didn't have any troubles I do hope that you are an early riser though, the windows are not very sound proof and you can hear everyone that goes by your room in the morning.

Basic accomodations. Low wattage bulbs in room made me concerned about cleanliness, but room was adequately cleaned. Friendly staff, but office closes at 7pm. Mediocre water pressure. Bring your own toilet paper (the stuff they provide had the consistency of thin-sliced phone book pages) and kleenex (none provided).

The hotel didn't have my reservation when I arrived and couldn't find it in the computer. There were a lot of people standing around on the balcony and loitering in the parking lot. After the first night stay I found my room hadn't been cleaned. After calling the clerk I was told that they only clean rooms after two nights stay. On my second night at 3:00 AM the hotel fire alarm went off and was on for more than 20 minutes. The noise in the room was deafening and by the time the fire department got there to shut it off, (no fire), I was wide awake and couldn't go back to sleep. When I asked the clerk for a refund he said that the manager wasn't there and no refunds could be made. Take my advice and get a room somewhere else.

We were there to visit my daughter & took our 2 little dogs with us & the desk clerk made sure that we had a first floor room to accomadate our pets.

I was visiting a sick family member. The room was great, except for the non-working stove. The staff was very friendly.

I liked the location of the hotel - very close to I-40. The cleanliness of my room left a lot to be desired. There were hairs on the floor, stuck to the shower wall. The toilet was not cleaned either. The alarm clock was "sticky". The drawers in the chest of drawers wouldn't close. There were several cigarette burns on the walls and alarm clock. Best of all there was a cigarette burn in my pillow case. I called the front desk they moved me to another room, but I was already angry. All I wanted to do was go to sleep. The front desk said that this hotel is under new management so hopefully that will help.

I like the location of the hotel, especially close to several restaurants. I like the use of appliances, such as stove, coffemaker, toaster, refridgerator, dishwasher, and microwave.
