Arrived at the hotel greeted with friendly Front Desk Clerk. Great Staff,Great service and Great location convenient to everything within walking distance to Bogue Inlet and outlets. Bed Slept wonderfully! I would defintiely recommend this motel for a fun weekend.Only improvement air conditioning could be updated a bit more. fpr the prive you would definitely enjoy this motel. Most inportantly it is Safe Place to stay at with friendly staff which is a plus!!!!

Couple getaway
The room was a little small, but decent for two people. The bathroom could have been bigger and there was a bug problem in the bathroom. The beach was a decent walk from the beach.

Oceanview Inn in Emerald Isle, NC
The motel was old. There was only one outlet in the room and it was hanging out the wall. We were afraid to plug in the refrigerator and microwave which were unplugged. The room was small and the bathroom shower head fell off during the shower. The knobs on the hot & cold squeaked. There was no pool and it was not located on the beach front. Personally I think they should tear it down or do major renovations. Not worth the money at all. Will never go back there. Pictures on internet are deceiving because it looks like the pier is going from the hotel but it is not.

Decent and close to the beach
The place is easy to find, plenty of parking, and very close to the beach. However, the room is in need of updating. For the [...]price, I would go back, but not for their full price.

Older, but great beach location
Really great location next to Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier. Hotel needs a little updating, but the bathroom in our room was remodeled, so it looks they are working on that. Room was clean.

If you arrive early you can notify the hotel, and park your car at the hotel, and walk to the beach without paying the $10 Pier fee.

Don't drive across country for this!
My fiance and I were in town to attend a wedding. We have done a lot of traveling and we are not picky about hotels and have stayed in our share of run-down places. This one was the worst and I've never been compelled to write a review before. The "waterview" was over a trailor park. The furniture was old and some was broken, like our dresser had a drawer that wouldn't shut. The bathroom had been very poorly "remodeled." The shower was put in at a weird angle and created a long narrow hallway type entrance to the bathroom. The shower that had been expanded to create the weird hallway had mix-matched tile, but all of that would be fine except there was mold where the two different types of tile met and there were cobwebs in the shower. The toilet almost didn't flush. It would only flush if you stood and held the handle for about 30 seconds. One of the worst aspects was how poorly insulated the walls were. We could hear everything, EVERYTHING our neighbors did, from their TV to a couple next door that had a very fun evening that we not only heard in its entirety, but could feel our own bed shaking. We had driven 17 hours from Boston that day and really wanted to relax. Also, the bed and pillows were very hard. We spent the weekend killing mosquitos in our room and to top it all off we paid way too much for it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
