Great value, close to airport
I stayed at the hotel for one night because I needed somewhere close to the airport. Overall, this was a nice, clean hotel and a great value. Free continental breakfast and fast Wifi. Bed was comfortable and large. Location extremely convenient to I-40 and the airport. Would recommend for any travelers looking for a good hotel at a reasonable price.

Excellent Place To Stay
I stayed here while my bathroom was being renovated. Nice to be close to home and still have comfort.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it is one of the best values around. The hotel is really nice, the rooms look great, and the BIG breakfast is really wonderful. You cannot beat this hotel for the amazing price.

Family Wedding in Raleigh
We were on the fourth floor, very quiet. The bed was very comfortable.. I remember that the Wyndam in Orlando was very comfortable also. The breakfast buffet was very good, I really liked the waffles. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We visited the Pit BBQ in Raleigh and the wedding was on the beautiful site of NC University. The weather was fantastic and everything was green! There was snow in Mpls when we left. We will stay there again if we get back!

Okay stay
This was an okay stay. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and the FREE breakfast was a plus. My major beef was with the bed and pillows. The bed was made up with one sheet, a massive comforter, then a cover sheet over the comforter. Unless the room thermostat was set to 60 degrees (to use the comforter) or 80 degrees (to use the sheet) I do not see how anyone could have an enjoyable nights sleep. Also, the pillows were lumpy - but there were six on the bed to choose from. At this price range, this was a much better hotel than most.

Nothing really special about this hotel. It is very similar to other chain hotels. The only problem was they put me in the first floor close to elevator. Otherwise, everything else was OK.

Definite Recommendation
The Wingate was close to the airport an easy to get to. The room was large, clean, comfortable and with free Wi-Fi that actually worked well. The free full breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, waffles, pastries, coffee, tea, juice, etc.) was great. We stayed at 3 hotels in 4 days and this was definitely the best.
