College tour time

I found the location so easily. Parking was even better, choose valet or parking lot 50 ft away! It was raining and cold when we arrived. Hot showers, movies, and well stocked frig were a plus. Check the menu first as each item costs $$. The beds were most comfortable!

Short but very sweet trip

It's amazing what four friends can pack into a 35 hour getaway and what fun we had. From eastern NC to Raleigh and Durham and back again. We checked on a new grandchild, had a make-up makeover, saw an IMAX movie on VanGogh, stayed at the lovely Washington-Duke Inn and enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant, sat up talking and laughing in our beautifully decorated adjoining rooms, then slept like logs in our most comfortable beds. Next day it was breakfast out and a visit to the Picasso Exhibit at Duke University Nasher Museum and as a final treat for ourselves, had afternoon tea at the Umstead Hotel in Raleigh. How wonderful to have wonderful places to stay and things to do in the Triangle.
