Great for business or pleasure
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Millennium which is centrally located to Duke, major highways, shopping, etc. The restaurant is excellent, prices very affordable. The service at the hotel is friendly & efficient. For potential travelers, would like to apprise you of the hotel's mini van transportation provided to nearby sights, within a certain proximity: the universities, shopping, hospitals, which is an outstanding amenity.

Convenient location, great hospitality!
The Millennium is located very near Duke's west campus with quick access on local roads. The neighborhood it's located in is very quiet. Also, it's not near the highway so there's no road noise. Service and hospitality was top notch from the door men to the brunch staff. The brunch buffet was reasonably priced and offered plenty of choices from fresh fruit to biscuits and gravy. The king bedroom was very large, probably could have fit 2 king beds. The bathroom could use a face lift - the tub enclosure felt flimsy underfoot - but everything was very clean. I prefer a very soft bed and this was just a little firm for me but I'm sure it would be more than comfortable for most people. I believe there are just two small restaurants in the hotel but there plenty more within a very short drive. This was my second stay here and would happily go back again.

What A Great Hotel!!!!!
The Millennium Hotel was WONDERFUL!!! The hotel was gorgeous and the staff couldn't be nicer.There was a great restaurant and bar right in the hotel and the indoor pool was just as beautiful.As a mother of three I am a Clean Freak and this place met my standards.What a great hotel at a great price!!!STAY STAY-STAY-STAY you will not be disappointed!

family friendly, but not imperibally clean - just average
This was a very average hotel experience. The rooms were clean-ish, but not spotless. The hotel was just OK, though the waitress was great. There is an indoor pool, which is comfortable, but a little on the dark side, and there was no personnel (though, I think that is common). There were a few towels for guests' use. It was a convenient location for us, because we had to be back and forth to Duke University several times.

Not Worth the Money
The Millennium is a nice hotel. The rooms were of average size, nothing special. Even at this price, there wasn't a breakfast included. At check-out there was an extra fee for shuttle service that I was not made aware of before-hand. The staff was friendly, but this place is not worth the money.

big and confortable room
Very big room with the free internet access, which was great. I visited the hotel for my buisiness, so it was critical. The hotel is located within walking distance to Duke West Campus. The area around the hotel is much safer than other areas in Durham.

Great Stay
I stayed there due to some appointments at the VA hospital. They were more than happy to give me a more expensive room than I booked to get internet access. All the staff was very friendly. I just wish the hot tub was a little Hotter (I like it scolding hot). Very close to a City Park. Very Comfortable Lounge. Food was reasonably priced and breakfast buffet was pretty good and had a large selection. Can't beat it at 70 dollars a night.
