The search is over for an affordable hotel near the Research Triangle

Good Hotel but freeway noise on front rooms
Excellent staff to correct problems. Good, clean room. Room next to freeway with a bit of noise, but otherwise excellent.

Very ordinary place
The blinds were broken and the piece that holds up the blinds had fallen and was hanging by the chords. The AC is very loud. The room was relatively clean, and the bed pretty comfortable. Everything was ordinary for a place of this price. But, you can hear EVERYTHING from the hallways and neighbors. Each blast of pressurized toilet flush from around you is enough to wake you. Also, the door is not enough to keep out noise from the hallway, so expect to hear every conversation and door slam.

Good value, comfortable, & clean
While the design felt a bit dated, the details were all fine. For example, while the carpet pattern seemed traditional, there were no stains or tears. Same for paint, wallpaper, furniture. The room was quite large and had two microwaves and two refrigerators. One refrigerator was rather noisy, so I unplugged it. There was a bit of freeway noise, but not enough to keep me awake. The fitness room had a decent variety of equipment, including free weights.

Weekend getaway
just slept there. Breakfast was ok, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. That's all we needed!

nice hotel
first time in LQ, large room; free internet, local phone, pool, large room for a falmily. Breakfirst is so-so, probably as good as in your home. TV programs are not fun to watch. Overall, still nice for the price through Orbits air/hoel package

Great Hotel in a HorribleLocation
Hotel was great, very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice; I missed breakfast one morning and they were nice enough to grab me a couple muffins from the pantry. However, I meant to book a different La Quinta that was closer to Raleigh and only noticed a couple of days prior to my vacation that I was in the wrong hotel. I called and tried to switch to the other La Quinta and was told that they would have to charge me for one night. Even though I was transferring within the same hotel chain. Cabs are not really an option, rent a car if you stay here!! Luckily for us, we were in town for a wedding and many of my friends either drove in or rented cars so we were able to get around. Also, the hotel has an airport shuttle which is nice.

Waffle House was the only thing within walking distance. You MUST have a car if you stay at this hotel/location!!!!

reasonable price
I enjoyed my hotel stay and this is my second return to this hotel. I would like them to have more than 2 baggage carts for their guests. It was extremely difficult to get a cart and I had to carry my luggage up and downstairs. They have 6 floors in this hotel so they need to consider having 2 carts for every floor in the hotel.
