Courtyard by Marriott Durham Near Duke University/Downtown

this was a very good choice for us.. the location was very convenient to our destination. the facililty was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the complimentary high-speed wireless connectivity was a super plus. Only negative: the on-line description led me to believe there was a distinct sitting area away from the sleeping area. In reality it was the standard chair and table between the window and one of the beds.

This Courtyard was extremely clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked in very late at night and it was still staffed, lit, and welcoming. The only slight negative was the hide-a-bed was not particularly comfortable for our teenager. I would definitely stay here again.

Arrived at the hotel at around 3AM, the staff were extremely helpful in answering my phone calls before my arrival and completed the check-in process swiftly. The staff were extremely friendly and paid for a taxi ride to Duke when I needed to travel before their shuttle bus was running. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and relaxing as well as the sofa chair and desk chair. Hotel was nice and clean. The furniture and carpet were new and pleasing to the sight. The yard with the swimming pool was a beautiful view from my window. Located next to restaurants with delicious foods. Location was nice and quiet. Free wi-fi without a code!

Room accomodations were great; staff very polite, friendly, accomodating; great location

Location was ideal for our trip, next to country club where our activities were centered. Room very well appointed with good furniture, including sofa, very clean and neat. Attractive lobby and facilities.

My extended family was there for a wedding. Those of us not tied up with last minute wedding plans, toured Durham. Some went to a Bull's game, the Museum of Life and ScienceDuke Gardens, Duke Homestead, Duke basketball buiding, Duke campus, shopping (much shopping), Brightleaf, Carolina Theater and so much more.

Our son goes to Duke; we have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for the past four years. The location has been the big plus for us- close to Duke. The rooms have always been very clean. Heat and air conditioning have always worked well. The front desk has always been very helpful. It's where we will be graduation week-end!

It's a nice enough hotel,but when i go there,i go to the Duke Clinic.I am given a medical discount,which i wasn,t given, because i made my reservations through Orbitz.

This Courtyard hotel is very nice for the price. The room was spacious, clean, and stylish. Shower and toilet were in a separate room from the sink and mirror. This is a nice feature for more than one to a room. Coffemaker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board were all there. The breakfast was good and included make your own waffles. Good location off of highway 147 and close to Duke. Convient shopping center across the street which includes some restaurants. There was only one thing that I did not like about the hotel....the shower. The tub was not flat and it was uncomfortable to stand on a sloped floor. Never experience this before anywhere. Not sure if all the bathrooms were like this or not. It was not a big deal just unusual.
