SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte Concord Mills/Speedway

Rooms are dimly lit and below average. Reminded me of vacationing with my parents 10 years ago minus the flat screen tv. Staff was great but the room and hotel were very average if not sub par.

The hotel overall was not bad. However, I classify places differently based on expectation from the governing chain. Motel 6, while vastly superior to what they were even 10 years, does not elicit a great expectation as they are forthcoming about what they are: a cheap, reasonably clean place to sleep. Marriott, on the other hand, as this hotel was, exudes a higher standard (at a much higher price) so I expect more from one of their facilities. Upon arrival in the room, we noticed there were no trash bags in any of the suite's many wastebaskets. Minor detail, sure, but still something I've never encountered in a long list of hotel/motels. It was remedied quickly enough after a call to the desk. The suite floorplan itself was somewhat poorly laid out with the arrangement of TV stands impeding easy access between "rooms" and the bathroom. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. The pool was useable enough, although two hours after it opened in the morning there were no pool towels stocked. The lack of any water on the deck suggested the pool had not been used yet that morning. More of an inconvenience to have to retrieve towels from the front desk, it was yet another detail that should have been seen to earlier. Breakfast was the usual fare, with the exception that the coffee was unpalatable. I spent 26 years in the military so I'm not exactly picky when it comes to coffee, but this was bad. I will say that the hotel staff was quick to rectify these issues; however, in a hotel of this class and price these issues shouldn't have existed to begin with. I will probably consider another chain for my next upcoming trip.

Quite good. Comfortable suite that was affordable, good location for food and shopping. Beds very comfortable. Needed hot tub and pool for back, both quite nice for the size.

We got this room as a place to stay between Carowinds where would be spending the day and my sister's home. The location was very close to many restaurants and shopping. The room was large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. The beds were queen size and there was a pull out sofa bed. The boys also enjoyed having 2 televisions. One for the adults and one for the boys to hook up their xbox. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked it. There was food in the sofa, no bags in the trash cans, small things. we also had a terrible view of the parking lot. One of the bright lights shined directly into our window. The staff was friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location. I was pleased with the experience!

In town for a female teenage event. The hotel was filled with female teens (lots of laughing in the halls), our room was right in frt of elevator and right above the front desk. The entire time we were there, nothing was heard in the bedroom section. We were very very pleased with this. Lots of restuarants of various menus and a good variety of price ranges. There was also a mall that had all sorts of stores in it. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at that was large enough for our family of five. We had a lot of room to move around in and not get into each other's way. The only thing I was not pleased with was the coffee table right between the couch and tv, (because I kept walking into it), so we moved it out of the way. The beds were very comfortable. We will definately stay here again for the event next year (won't even look for a better deal).
