Very good experience
Easy to get to fom I-85. Plenty of convenient parking. Registration was a piece of cake and the staff was polite and helpful.The room was very nice and comfortable. The hotel is very close to many restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed our 2 nights at this property.

In a Time of Hardship...
Having to travel on short notice for a memorial service is tough enough with having to worry about the hotel, and I can confidently say that the Courtyard Marriott Concord was perfect for my needs. It's very close to I-85 and a short drive to the Charlotte airport, with tons of restaurants nearby. I was surprised at the quality of my room, being exceptionally clean and well appointed, and the staff was super-considerate and caring (thanks, Lizz!). I would definitely stay here again anytime and will choose a Marriott property first in the future.

Wonderful Hotel
The hotel was very nice. There was plenty of parking and we were less than 1/2 a mile away from Concord Mills and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Check-in and check-out were very quick. We put in a room on the second floor and asked to be put on a higher floor, and they had no problem switching us rooms. Everyone was very friendly. The hotel was very clean and our room was perfect for us. They also have a nice pool and hot-tub, which we visited but did not get in. The hotel has a bar and restaurant that looks very nice but we did not use it. We went on this trip to visit Concord Mills shopping mall. I am glad we stayed here and not at a hotel directly across from the mall, because of traffic. Only complaint was my husband went to the lobby to purchase a bag (small) of chips and a bag of m&m's and it was $4, so make sure you bring your snacks with you! We plan to stay here again.

Beautiful, Clean Hotel
I was a little nervous about the comments that had been left about this hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean(new) updated, staff was very kind and helpful. Amenities were great! It was in the middle of everything, malls, restaurants, etc. I stayed at a $270 a night hotel the week after and was more impressed by the Marriot for sure! Enjoyed my stay tremendously!

Great location, clean, comfortable rooms
Being a little hesitant about this hotel after reading some of the reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with everything about it. Very conveniently located, close to the race track, (traffic wasn't bad at all considering it was race weekend!) plenty of restaurants nearby, close to anything you'd want. Very good impression when you enter the attractive lobby, staff was helpful, large, comfortable room, very clean, have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend!

Good price
We went to Concord for a wedding and just needed a hotel for a couple of nights. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and clean but the service wasn't the greatest. The only food available was a small place in the lobby and it was very overpriced and not available at all times.

Great and awful location
Our trip was to see an international running and biking competition which was held at Lowe's Speedway, less than a mile from the hotel. The locals were wonderfully friendly and the atmosphere in the town was vibrant. Hotel staffers were helpful. Location was both the best and worst aspect of this hotel; not entirely the fault of the hotel, and most hotels around the speedway share the same issue. Even during a non-NASCAR weekend, traffic crawled along the main thoroughfare off of which this hotel is situated, and there is essentially only one way in and out of the property. So while one can see Lowe's Speedway just down the road, one must join a queue in one direction and reverse course via a crossover to drive to the speedway. Travel to a restaurant, fast-food or sit-down, was also time-intensive because of the traffic, and the off-lobby bistro was insufficient for menu choices throughout the day.

Bring your bikes, running shoes, or Segways (and rain gear) to get to the speedway, shopping and restaurants. Though everything is close to the hotel, driving means sitting in traffic to crawl along the same road as everyone else to get there. There are some bike lanes. If you just want to cocoon in the hotel, bring your own (mostly non-perishable) food and drinks; there are a refrigerator (disassembled six-pack capable) and microwave (standard popcorn bag size) in the well-layed-out, comfortable room, and an ice machine down the hall.

Good and Bad
The place had just opened the day before - the room had a new carpet smell and there was no hot water for a shower on our last day.
