SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte University Research Park

First and foremost..there is no proper internet. In the world of technology the basic amenities need to be provided for the customer. They will say you have complimentary internet..it is just complimentary..

The service and the breakfast at the hotel was great...the room wasn't so good. First, the bathroom wasn't clean and I doubt the carpets were. The room was oddly shaped and really poorly laid out--a waste of a "suite" with couch, chair, desk and kitchenette all jammed into a weirdly-shaped "L" space and the TV sitting uncomfortably between the "bedroom" area and the rest. It was not very comfortable though the bedding seemed clean and the bed was acceptable. I would not recommend this hotel. Stay at the Hilton across the way.

The room was very nice and comfortable. It's close to a lot of things without being stuffed in downtown Charlotte.

I went to the world of outlaws world finals at Lowe's motor speedway. This location was perfect because it put me 10 minutes from the track, and also there is a great selection of food as well. My dad and I where also able to find a good selection of golf courses that where within a 20 to 30 minute ride. In past trips I had to keep a map of how to get back to my hotel, but staying here you don't need that. Everything was perfect on my trip other then being to short. I can't wait to go back next year, and I am looking forward to another great stay at the hotel.

My experience was good. I had the ability to choose which floor I wanted to stay on. If you are planning on using the internet, make sure you bring your own Broadband cable. All the staff was friendly and courteous and the room was large and spacious. Concord MIlls was right up the street which provided easy access to dining locations.

The Springhill Suites in Research Park Charlotte has a terrific staff. From the front dest to the maintenance staff they all are very responsive to your needs and very welcoming. The facility itself is in need of some minor upkeep. The carpets in the hallways and elevators is quite worn. The second floor hallway smell musty. The room itself was better. Housekeeping staff do a nice job in the individual rooms. The bed was not very compfortable. The location is very convenient to shopping, dining and major highways.

I have stayed here several times (as well as other Springhills across the USA). Beds are always comfortable and the rooms are always clean. They also offer a decent breakfast (normally with eggs and sausage, oat meal, fruit, yogurt, and breads & pastries). My TWO favorite things about this Hotel: - The staff is especially friendly. They are always cheerful and are very welcoming. - The gym here is not that great (about what you expect), but they also have a deal with a gym that is a 5-minute drive away and open 24 hours. The gym is called Peak Fitness. I recommend bringing a lock and towel (if you plan to shower there). As far as gyms go, it's not the nicest gym in the world, but it is a heck of a lot better than the hotel gym. Also, there is a Romano's Macaroni Grill in the same parking lot. It's a good place for lunch or dinner. There's a bar, too. The Mac Grill generally closes at 10:00 pm.
