Don't even THINK about staying in this p
We never checked in; the place looked like it was a holding place for prisoners (dangerous prisoners!) While we only lost $45 on the deal, the manager of the Clarion right next door noted when we asked that "she hadn't heard anything bad about it LATELY..." We instead stayed at the Quality Inn close by for about $60 and, while not fancy, it served its purpose and we felt safe. I had my three sons with me.

Cheap but clean
This hotel was more for the convenience near the airport and carowinds than anything. For the price, the room was very clean and enough to sleep in for a few hours before the next morning when we left.

Avoid at all cost!
When checking in to the motel the clerk is behind bullet-proof glass. I almost asked him for a coke and a cigar. Room was very uncofortable...airplanes all night, bed was lumpy and the air conditioning unit was either off or at the max all the time. No dest to work on.

Great Value
The hotel was fairly easy to locate from the interstate. The room was adequate and clean. There was an iron and full size ironing, hair dryer, microwave, large TV, clock, small refrigerator, luggage rack, desk and chair, and drawers in the large csbinet that held the TV. There was plenty of space to hang clothing also.
