4th of July in the Queen City
The "roof top" pool was a huge disappointment, it was only on the 2nd floor and didn't offer the great views we imagined. Also, it was super small and the hotel was busy so being in it wasn't an option during prime swim hours. The cable was really bad with many channels not coming in clearly and a small selection of channels also. If you happen to travel on 4th of July like we did, you can see the fireworks from the roof top which was a fantastic bonus.

Good hotel for children on a school trip
Disappointment. I made the error by assuming the Omni was of higher luxury than the Westin (just down the block). You cannot compare the hotels. Omni is a regular hotel with a 4 star rating.

Pleasent Stay
While in town we went to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at the Knight theater (great show btw), the Omni Charlotte was located in the center of the mix which allowed us to stay parked and walk from sight to sight. The Bank of America center which was attached to the hotel allowed us to travel from building without having to step a foot out the door and into the frigid February air.

This hotel is old
For the location of this hotel, they have old tube TVs and old furniture in their rooms that is not appealing at all, my room was small and the last place I ever wanted to be, the air vent always stated with a very loud bang that woke me up few time at night and during the day I always thought some one was at the door. I was charge for 5 nights for internet but I stay there for just two days, the best staff is a lady named I think [...], she was very nice.

Average hotel
in the heart of Charlotte with food places and bars right around the corner or even within the Bank of America Center; seems to be one of the older hotels in town. Rooms were ok, nothing too fancy.
