La Quinta Inn & Suites Charlotte Airport South

The staff was outstanding. Very courteous and helpful. We didn't get a late room cleaning as requested next day otherwise room was very clean on arrival. Excellent breakfast, great location and terrific value.

I arranged this hotel for a conference travel to Charlotte. The location was very convenient for me, but I am not satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel/room in general.

This LaQuinta is well run - the staff makes an effort to be cheerful, friendly and helpful; the room was extremely clean, well furnished, spacious and quiet with a desk and chair for doing "homework" and wireless internet at no extra cost. The breakfast bar had the normal bagels, toast, hard-cooked eggs, cereal and waffles. The coffee was flavorful and hot, it didn't run out while I was there. Downtown is a 14 minute drive, straight up So. Tryon Street. For less than half the cost of the big downtown hotels, this is a great value.

When entering our room at 11:30 pm there was bagged trash just inside the door. I thought the staff forgot to pick it up on their way out. I took a few more steps and realized that someone was already staying in the room or the staff hadn't finished cleaning. We called downstairs and they were embrassed; we were directed to a different room. This room was clean and pleasant. The only other complaints I have were the other guests. Slamming doors isn't necessary and making plans for the next day at 3:00 am in the hallway isn't necessary either. I never did get a good nights sleep thanks to Frank and his buddy. I never did make out his buddy's name but I hope they had a good time.

I have stayed at this facility before and I am impressed with the remodeling that they have been doing. I think the fresh paint, new carpet, and remodeled continental breakfast room was great. The front desk staff were very helpful during my stay and the cleaning gals were great to deal with each day. I have always thought that this place was well located for anyone who needs a place to stay that is well situated to places of interest or just business downtown. I have always enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Room was very comfortable, and the staff was excellent. Only comment was that there was a wooden molding around the ceiling that had a 1/8 inch of dust build-up. I first thought that I was seeing a shadow, but when I reached up and wiped it with my finger it was dark dust. Maybe every month or two could use a wipe down. Could be a problem for someone with allergies.

Close to the airport, clean with helpful employees.

We brought family here from out of the country to visit a relative in Charlotte. We were impressed with the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. Simply put It was super nice. Only reason I didn't rate it a perfect on amenities was because it rained much of our stay an indoor pool would have been nice. The bright side breakfast was OK. Fresh fruit would have been nice eggs and bacon would have been great but overall pretty good.

Room was good and the bed was very comfortable. Did not see much of the staff other than registration and handing back in the door key, but they were pleasant. Breakfast area was clean and had lots of options. I would stay there again.
