never again
Never Again!
After a long trip to this hotel we were unpleasantly supprised to find the swimming pool closed for our entire stay .At check in we were never notified of the pool being closed, the front desk clerk did however tell us where the pool was. After we realized the situation with the pool I went to the office to try and change to another hotel. We had chosen this paticular hotel because it had a pool.I did not get anywhere with the front desk and then phoned the corporate office. We were merely trying to change to another hotel in the area with an open pool. I then proptly received a call from the manager of the hotel. Unfortunately for me it was not to rectify the situation but to yell at me for phoning corporate. I was very frustrated and upset at the lack of professionalism and how I was treated!

A comfortable and convenient place to stay
Everything went smoothly with our stay at Holiday Inn Express - Arrowood. It was convenienly located off the highway, our check-in and check-out was easy, and the staff was friendly. The room was very comfortable, larger than expected, and very quiet. We loved the bed! Not too firm or soft. It was nice to have a refrigerator. The digital thermostat on the air conditioner was great. It kept the room at a perfect temperature for us. Compared to other hotels in the area, this one seemed to be the best value for the money. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, so it didn't matter not having a restaurant in the hotel. The free breakfast was just OK (cinnamon rolls great, but not much fresh fruit -- just some green bananas).

I would suggest Starbucks across the street for some GOOD coffee with your breakfast.
