Excellent location. Expensive breakfast and room was so so. Requested king standard room, was given queen accessible room. Nothing impressive though not the worst around.

Comedy Concert in Charlotte

Great weekend! Hotel was right downtown near clubs and bars but not near our concert venue on purpose - the staff helped us get a car to the show $15 each way - perfect! The room was clean and inviting and modern - the hotel bar was great and the bartender was excellent! The front desk staff really did a good job of meeting all of our needs - i will stay there again when i am in downtown Charlotte for business or pleasure! I could not have asked for a better location or better staff - super friendly. Breakfast bar was a little pricey but there was a menu that you could order form that was reasonable - i just won't eat $12.95 worth of breakfast food but the bar looked good and if i had been with my family it would have been a great value for my sons and husband! Great place to stay and i will be staying there again!

All the clubs, bars and restaurants were within walking distance. I also noticed that the stadiums and discovery place were within walking distance. They have a great location that allows you to walk to many attractions

Great weekend trip

We stayed at the Holiday Inn as we were attending the Bobcats vs. Cavs game on 1/16. Location was perfect for bars and restaurants and only a block away from the arena. Only downside was parking cost $15 a night. 4 stars nonetheless

Time Warner Arena Event

Accommodations were OK. Close proximity, but late night clubs on next street were really load until early morning. Hard too get a good night rest with all the noise. Don't know if I would stay again with all the loud music.

Charlotte

Great location! I was disappointed that there was a daily charge of $15 for self parked cars. Also, I have stayed at this hotel before and had a great looking, modern decorated room, but this time the room seemed cheaper somehow and not quite as clean. Overall, the location makes up for a lot, but for the money I'm sure there are better rooms available in Charlotte City Center.
