simple good clean
FOR A QUICK OVERNITE NEXT TO AIRPORT PLACE, IT WAS GREAT. STAFF VERY ACCOMMODATING. LETTING US LEAVE OUR CAR & HAVING SHUTTLE SERVICE @ NO COST WAS SUPERB. WE WERE IN S.AFRICA FOR 2 WEEKS BUT NO PROBLEM. WHEN WE GOT BACK WE DECIDED TO STAY OVERNITE AGAIN BECAUSE OUR PREVIOUS STAY WAS PLEASANT [...]. AS WE CHECKED IN, WE NOTED TWO AIRLINE STEWARTS THAT THE STAFF SEEM TO KNOW AS REGULARS!oNE MAN HAD A ROOM # HE PREFERRED. THAT'S THE BEST RECOMMENDATION IN IT'S SELF. WE'D STAY THEIR AGAIN

Econo Lodge Charlotte NC
Very handy to the airport, and the plane noise mentioned by other reviewers is really a non-issue. Easy to get to, easy access to highways, a comfortable night's rest....we're glad we stayed here.

You get what you pay for!!
First arrived and noticed how hot the lobby was.. Surprisingly the room we had was very clean and the air conditioner worked great. We spent only the first 2 days at the pool, as the pool was shut down for the rest of our stay. With the weather topping out at 99 degrees, this was a major inconvience. We were located on the 3rd floor and the ice machine was out of service, so we had to walk down to the 1st floor to the only other ice machine. This hotel was very close to the airport as well as the ghetto,I was offered drugs by the locals!!The highway noise was not a problem, and our sleep was never once interupted.

Short walk from hotel
Cracker Barrel and the Waffle House were a very short walk down the street...but not a safe walk. I would suggest to rent a car if staying at this hotel.

Good stay for a short visit.
Phone didn't work in my room. Wasn't there long enough for it to matter. There was not a TV remote in the room. Had to go down to the front desk since the phone didn't work. They gave me one that did work. Breakfast was good!! All else was satisfactory.

Decent hotel
The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. It was right off the freeway and close to downtown. Great price!
