Days Inn Charlotte/Woodlawn Near Carowinds

Nice price off the beaten path and peaceful quiet time was enjoyed while i was there.

I cannot express strongly enough my dissatisfaction with this experience. The room was booked incorrectly with only one bed, the hotel itself looked nothing like the pictures provided on the site. In addition, the smell of marijuana was pungent throughout the entire motel. Plus, the hot water in my room had to be repaired during my stay. Honestly, after this I would never for NO reason stay at a Days Inn again.

The room was dirty. the lights were broken in the room one bed had only a comforter. There were stains all over the walls....gross!!!

My experience was fine, but this hotel needs MAJOR REMODELING DONE!! From the comforters to the carpet to the old timely televisions!! Also that sticky smoke smell needs diminished! I normally stay in Days Inn in Gastonia but I couldn't make it out there this trip. House keeping was very pleasant, I didn't like how when I asked for 2 wash clothes they didn't have any clean in the hotel..."they were in the washer" how can u check me into a room with no wash cloths?? I wont stay here again, unless i absolutely have to!! But the Azteca restaurant next door is delicious !!!

Bed and shower were clean and good. Breakfast was minimal

I use this location often for trips to Charlotte. My only complaint is that my nonsmoking room has to be accessed through hallways where smoking is allowed. On this trip, it was noticeable enough that it may cause me to reconsider my choice next time.

I thought that this hotel was rated 3 1/2. It wasn't clean and stinked , smell of cigarette so strong it almost made me and my familt sick. The stairways were filthy and sticky under foot. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, it's not worth the money.It should be rated a 1.

It is a good hotel for a short business stay e.g. three nights. Maintenance is average low: TV antenna was damaged and it was not repaired during my stay. I had to work on it myself to get a good image. It was not expensive and the ratio quality/price rather good I recommend it if you just use it for sleeping at night and doing some work on internet with your laptop

When you get their you see Aztec Restraunt that and the behind it the Day Inn. Finally finding the entrance the gentleman was cursing in front of my little son. HOw Rude! And finally entering into the hotel ... I thought I was in a 3rd world country motel. Roaches, the vent for the air was a dangerously open and showing how it was working which not safe for my one year old. Not happy went to complain and was curse at again. I will never go back. Left after first night not a good experience. But I did talk to Melanie on Orbit and they are aware of this sistuation. She was very nice on the phone. But no one should treat guest the way they did. Be warned!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at this hotel since it was close to Carowinds. The room was not the same as what the pictures showed online, and the breakfast wasn't too great. The shower was dirty when we arrived, but other than that, I have no complaints. Very friendly staff!
