Days Inn Airport North Charlotte

My wife and I asked for a king size non-smoking. We got two doubles but fortunately non-smoking. The room was bare bones minimum. The room was stale when we got in there, had to turn on the AC. Over all though it was clean and a place to sleep which is all we really needed so no big complaints.

I was in Charlotte for my high school 50th year reunion. Reunion was great and thankful we didn't have to spend all our time at the hotel. Bath tub drain had parts missing and was clogged and stopped up. Toilet was very slow flushing. Bugs crawling on the floor and room had a musty smell. Ramada used to have a good reputation but this one was old and run down. This was the Ramada Inn Airport on Little Rock Road.

Great place to stay for NASCAR weekend. Service wsas good and close to gas,grocery and restaurants.

Stayed here because it was close to the airport and offered a "Park and Fly" service. The desciption however does not mention that it is NOT a complimentary service. Ended up spending $25 then having to choose a shuttle that was way earlier than we wanted to take because the shuttle was "booked". Nothing like hanging out at the airport for 3 hrs at 4 AM!! The return shuttle kept us waiting an additional 45 minutes after we landed at midnight the next week! Overall I would not recommend this MOTEL if you were trying to get to and from the airport economically and quickly. Stay at a nicer HOTEL with "complimentary shuttle". Room may cost a little more but after you pay for the park and fly you'll be coming out ahead. Lots of high and/or stoned truck drivers hanging around in the lobby and parking lots. You get what you pay for!! The upside is that the shuttle driver was very friendly - that helped!! FYI - This "INN" is a MOTEL with outside entry rooms. Do not cunfuse it with a HOTEL............

We were in Charlotte to see a concert at the Fillmore. This hotel is close enough. It did the job for a cheap hotel after a show. It wasn't the nicest or cleanest hotel, but it was fine enough for a place to crash after a concert. The first room we were assigned to had a broken air conditioner. We went to front desk and complained and they put us in a new room immediately.

The plane flight was satisfactory but the accommodations were horrific. When we checked in we were given room 109, used the card to enter the room, didn't work, after several attempts I pushed on the door, someone came to the window and was very upset, the room was already occupied, we were in [*]. We went back to the desk, they gave us another room, again the key didn't work and I wasn't going to push my luck a second time, the manager had to open the room for us. It was hot and rainy this weekend, the air conditioner did not work, and there was no other room available as far as we were told. Each time we went to the front desk there was no one there to help us, we ourselves had to had to search for the manager in order to get anything done. And it was not a hotel it was a motel. [...]

Our phone had no phone cord connected to it and we had no TV remote. We called the desk they said they would send someone, and never did. Got a knock on our door at 10:50am asking if we knew check out was at 11am...didn't appreciate that. No breakfast and grounds were very poor, making us feel like we were in really rough neighborhood.

We will not go there again. Desk clerk said breakfast would begin at 5 a.m., but there was no breakfast at all. We were charged an additional $25 for parking[...]. We waited for the shuttle at the airport for an hour after 3 phone calls. We will not use the Ramada again.

The staff gave us a room that was not clean. got another room and key did not work. Teh room we did stay in was still very dirty and LOUD!

spent hours on one phone after another trying to get cheap tickets to here my problems and getting calls dropped and also finding it very difficult to understand phone reps due to very heavy accents all total took about 4hrs of vacation time to settle problem.
