Days Inn Airport North Charlotte

Due to flight connections, I had to overnight in Charlotte. Limited options with airport shuttles due to sporting event. Shuttle driver was professional but not overly friendly. Receptionist was friendly prompt and had all my information. Check in took 2 minutes. The room was in the back of the property with an external door. From a safety perspective, that makes me a bit nervouse. The propoerty was clean but a bit run down. One of the lamps had no shades, iron had duck tape to hold the on button. Would not be first choice in future.

Dirty, the room smell like cigaret, dirty tower, have roaches no privacy it was terrible you get a bad name putting people here.

Dirty, Bugs running around night stand, Bath tub/shower need of cleaning and repair!

The room had a smell,the phone did not work,there was no hot water. Not pleased at all with room. Receptionist left message for management to call,never recieved a call. Not good business at all,was not concerned with customer satisfaction.

My wife and I asked for a king size non-smoking. We got two doubles but fortunately non-smoking. The room was bare bones minimum. The room was stale when we got in there, had to turn on the AC. Over all though it was clean and a place to sleep which is all we really needed so no big complaints.

The hotel is recentley changed ownership and is in the process of being upgraded from its current condition.

We arrived in Charlotte to attend the Yu-Gi-Oh YSC Championship Match on March 18th, 2011. I had scheduled a late arrival because it was a long drive from our home city. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a sign that the pool was out of service and the restaurant closed for renovations. So, no pool, restaurant on-site or breakfast available - as advertised; 3 of the main reasons for choosing this location. [...]. These are pretty key items when considering the MANY, MANY hotels available in the area. When we arrived to our rooms we noticed that there were no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms as advertised. When I called the front desk to inquire about this, they informed me that I would have to wait until the morning to have anything done. This was unacceptable as we had been traveling with groceries under ice packs to get there. We were then moved to two other rooms that had these amenities available. This is the worst experience I have had, the beds were very uncomfortable and the staff unhelpful. There didn't appear to be security.

I was in Charlotte for my high school 50th year reunion. Reunion was great and thankful we didn't have to spend all our time at the hotel. Bath tub drain had parts missing and was clogged and stopped up. Toilet was very slow flushing. Bugs crawling on the floor and room had a musty smell. Ramada used to have a good reputation but this one was old and run down. This was the Ramada Inn Airport on Little Rock Road.
