Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte City Center

The hotel was centrally located, and very convenient. Parking was extra, but expected. Not as bad as other similarly sized cities that i've visited. We were short on towels when we entered the room, and they do not accommodate extra roll-away beds, so prepare to share. We thought we had left an item in our room, and called housekeeping to double-check, but no one returned our call. It turned out that we did not leave anything behind, but that would have been quite frustrating if we had, in tact, lost an article.

My stay was pleasant due to the location, excellent staff and size of room. All of the employees were great with answering questions or with the slightest of requests. Room was clean, although a tad out of date. I enjoyed the location of the hotel. There were plenty of places to eat making it easy to walk anywhere. There wasn't a need to travel further than 4 blocks in any direction finding places to eat or for entertainment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value.

Nice location friendly staff. Included breakfas would have been nice. You could hear the next door room partying all night long. need better sound proofing.

needed a place to stay for one quck night. Clean, good location, friendly staff. Because big special event was in town, cost was a little high.

The room should not have been booked as a triple. It had a king size bed and a love seat the was the sleeper sofa. It was smaller than a twin bed and very very poor quality. The room was small with barely enough room to open up the small sleeper "sofa". [...]The day of our arrival the hotel staff brought us a rollaway bed as a solution. That was in far better condition than the sleeper sofa. The next day, the hotel moved us to a room with 2 queen beds which had more space and could actually sleep 3 adults!!!! The hotel was clean and staff helpful.

Spent two days, one night in Charlotte. This hotel was a perfect location to walk to many downtown attractions. I found the room very clean, and the hotel staff exceptionally nice.

I stayed at this courtyard while I attended a conference at the Charlotte Covention Center. I am a Marriot rewards member and really enjoy the chain. Overall this was a typicall Courtyard. Reception desk was attentive, housekeeping was good, however, the bathroom was below average. It appears they recently renovated the rooms with granite (possibly faux)in the bathroom and it appears water has penetrated the wall behind the granite. This gives the appearance of mildew/mold in the bathroom and with a very dim light it was hard to discern the difference. In future renovations try something different and place a brighter bulb in the bathroom and around the sink.

Visited Charlotte for an overnight stay, everthing you need or wanted is in walking distant from here. Great place and cozy rooms.
