What a nice hotel, nice setting with many things within an easy walk. Staff was warm & friendly and a nice way to start any day. My room was really nice and the bed was beautiful, inviting & very comfortable. Always liked Marriotts and this is one of the best I've stayed in.

What Was Missing
Great Hotel but the absence of continental breakfast was an annoyance. What hotel doesn't do that! Also $12.95 per day for internet seemed extreme. We just hooked our computer up at my son-in-law's home, but again an unnecessary annoyance. In our travels these two things have become standard - kind of like hair dryers and shampoo. One comes to expect them

Good hotel
Everything you expect from a Marriott, the only drawback is that the restaurant was remodeled and was a bit complicated breakfast. The excellent staff and good service, some little problems with Internet connectivity.

Great Experience
My first experience at a Boutique Hotel was wonderful. I needed a place to stay while visiting family for a mini reunion and this Marriott was perfect. Close to my location, close to dining and shopping in a premier section of Charlotte, and beautiful. A definite do-over!!

unfortunate
it was a get away-I felt the management seemed a little off for a marriott the people were nice and lacked on professionalism the rooms bathroom had an odor-the coffee not good-the service in restaurant poor-We did enjoy the salt water pool

Spent our anniversary there. Wonderful service. Great selection at breakfast buffet. Comfy rooms, lots of shopping right by the hotel. Have gone here 3 times already. Will definitely return!

Needed a Getaway
Very nice, great location
Pretty fancy. Nice, clean room. Everything worked. Just stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy the pool, fitness area, etc. Only knock is the breakfast at the Grill. Got it "free" with room rate but breakfast rang up as $32. If breakfast had not already been covered, I would have been furious to pay $32 for what I got. The buffet was not much beyond a continental breakfast you'd get at a bargain hotel.

good hotel,but lacks amenities
The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly. The room was large and comfortable. The bath did not have a shower cap. There was no free coffee available in the lobby, which I think should have been provided for a hotel of this quality. Some hotels have free breakfast for a lower room rate. Internet access was expensive, which also should be included free. No magnification mirror in bathroom.

South blaaaaaah
This hotel was not clean and did not meet up to standards. The fitness center was small and there were dirty towels ALL over the place. I also think someone threw up outside my door........stay somewhere else if you come to Charlotte don't waste your time on this place!!!!
