Just Okay
This is a very basic and average hotel. Nothing spectacular and nothing horrible but not worth the money. We paid $115. Sheets were rough and the breakfast was nothing special. There were limited options if you wanted a healthy breakfast - just yogurt and some fruit which had a bitter after taste. There is just once piece of equipment in the "gym." The staff were courteous.

Fresh Market is a few miles drive - close to UNC. They had lots of healthy opions.

Excellent hotel experience
When I entered the room to my surprise it was a mini-suite. Very spacious, very clean & very comfortable.

Overall, a nice stay. Very Carolina oriented. Only one issue. AC went out about 9:30 pm on day 2. Couldn't get a repair person out. Front desk not very helpful and a bit rude. Next day, the maintenance man, Dino, replaced the unit. Good repair service.

Short walk from hotel
"Tsunami" restaurant was great. Quiet, quick, tasty and economical. Don't bother with "Nantucket." Poor menu, average service - and while the hotel directory says "within walking distance" I wouldn't walk it again. You have to cross busy Hwy 54 with no crosswalk. Pretty hairy.

A Nice and convenient place to say
This hotel is very well located near the Interstate, shopping, close to chapel Hill and Durham. The room accomodations are quite nice. The one draw back is the complemnetary breakfast. On the morning we ate there the more popular items were not kept stocked and the hot food was not hot. Weekends the hotel seems overrun with kids, so things in the eating area might be better during the week. The rooms and bathrooms are well appointed, comfortable, and clean. Overall a solid B+.

There is a very nice Mall with many chain stores and restaurants one exit west on I 40.
