Clean and quiet
Nothing fancy and no frills, but for the money it was a good value. Convenient location and the ajacent shopping area was a nice bonus (Starbucks, Breugger's, pharmacy, etc...)

Top of the Hill restaurant was a real treat. Good food and ambiance, and it won't empty your wallet.

Perfectly nice room
This Days Inn had easy access to the highway, shopping, restaurants, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus. This was not a luxurious place to stay, but it was clean, quiet, and everything worked as it should. The bathroom fixtures were sparkling, though the rug was a little worn. There was a decent selection of tv channels, as well as a refrigerator and microwave at no extra charge! Those really came in handy and are a big plus whenever I'm traveling. The king size bed was firm, comfortable, and came with five pillows - however the sheets and blanket seemed thin and a little cheap. I will definitely stay there again - though I may bring my own bedding. It's an excellent value for the price.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
There are several restaurants in the plaza just down the service road from the Days Inn. Carmine's a casual-dining Italian place, The Loop for burgers and milkshakes, Boston Market, a Thai noodles place, a Starbucks, TCBY, and Bruegger's Bagels. Lots of dinner options without having to take out the car!

Not happy at all
First room that i was given had a wierd smell of a moldy carpet and an invalid room. It was enough to give me a headache in just 10 min. Fortunately they were kind enough to give me another room but still had the horrible carpet smell. Not so happy with my stay there.

Days Inn Chapel Hill
Although there was a brief power outage in the neighborhood due to the effects of Hurricane Irene, the hotel provided just what we needed for the trip — a close, quality, inexpensive stay near UNC-Chapel Hill.

Small but nice place
This is a really nice place to stay for a UNC visitor. Drive in 10 minutes. It is also located in a square where Trader Joes is. Perfect for Trader Joes lovers. Their staff are also really friendly.
