We are only 2 miles from the University of North Carolina and downtown Chapel Hill. UNC Hospitals is only 4 miles. Duke University is 7 miles North. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Trader Joes Starbucks Food Lion drug stores restaurants and shopping. All UNC sports venues are within a 5-minute drive. Located on bus line.

Good price for good location
This hotel is located near a shopping center with plenty of dining opportunities. It's also located on a bus line and includes a shuttle, so the access to downtown is simple. The staff were friendly and the room was nicer than expected though still not outstanding. I would recommend staying at this hotel for a visit to Chapel Hill.

Great service, mediocre rooms
This establishment is really a motel with a guest check-in building. The rooms are older, and they have the old motel smell. There is nothing wrong with the rooms, but don't expect extravagance.

Great Getaway
The hotel location was a short distance to Franklin Street. The staff was curteous and helpful. The hotel may have been a little out dated, but it was cozy, clean, and a great value. I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is 2 minutes drive away from campus (UNC) and just about ten minutes away from anything and everything. Staff was nice, room was clean and just fine.

Luckily, it was close to campus!
While visitng family and going to a football game we found this hotel with a great price. The room type was not guranteed, but i didn't expect that the room type included smoking or non smoking. The only rooms available were smoking and the room we stayed in must have had chain smokers for the last week. IT was disgusting. The staff was not willing to help (the couple checking in just before us experienced the same issues with smoking rooms and not reserving a smolkng room) much and seemed uninterested in making the stay pleasant for anyone. The restaurant and bar that is part of the hotel did have friendly waitstaff and we enjoyed the snacks we had while watching football. Overall, it was disappointing and I would spend the extra $ next time to stay at a different property where the customers are treated with more respect and are welcomed.
