Did not have a non-smoking suite
I booked a non-smoking suite [...]. Hotel sent us to a smoking suite and claimed that there were no non-smoking suites available for our entire stay. We were offered a single room, which was smoke-free, which my wife agreed would be better than the smoking suite. Disappointed, but otherwise very nice.

Will definitely go back!
We were in town for sports @ NC State. We had stayed here once before & liked it so much we stayed again. Other hotels are closer to campus, but not as nice and not in such a a beautiful setting. Convenient to campus but with a very relaxed feeling.

The best hotel stay ever!
We were in town for a family wedding and needed larger rooms - such as the suites that this hotel has. We were extremely happy with the size, comfort and cleanliness of all the different rooms we occupied. We would also meet in the lobby where they always had a fire going and 2 TV's on to whatever channel you wanted. We also celebrated New's Years there as a family and couldn't have been happier!

Thanksgiving Vacation
We traveled down to visit family over the Thanksgiving Holiday. They staff was very friendly. The rooms are great. Nice huge flat screen TVs. It reminded me of an apartment home. I also like the secluded location away from a lot of traffic.

Much better than expected
After a full day of driving and spending Thanksgiving with family in Raleigh, we were pleasantly surprised with Homewood Suites. Our suite was very nice and comfortable. I was really able to relax and unwind in front of the fireplace while having a glass of complimentary wine. After retiring to our room, we received a phone call from the desk to see if we were in need of anything; very nice! The breakfast was very nice and again, the atmosphere couldn't have been better. I would highly recommend (and have already) the Homewood Suites to friends and family.

Better the first time
Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was very friendly. I liked the room size and the kitchenette with dishes, pots and pans and silverware. The only problem was this musty smell that would not go away. We even tried to open the windows. We stayed there last year on the opposite wing and did not have this problem. Maybe it was because it was close to 100 outside and humid.

Overall Good
Hotel was good but crowded that weekend. I booked a king size bed but only got a queen. They claimed it was Orbitz's fault not theirs. However, bed was very comfortable. One light did not work. They served a hot breakfast but it wasn't great. But given the affordable price, it was still worth it.
