Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites RALEIGH-CARY (I-40 at WALNUT ST)

I was in Cary for a very brief visit over Christmas weekend. The staff was very, very pleasant. The room could have been better however. I did let the gentleman know about the bed frame and lamp at checkout but since I received this survey, I thought I would complete it. I usually don't like to complain but the bed frame was sticking out about 4-5 inches and I slammed my ankle on it and couldn't move for a few minutes. The lamp on the nightstand was duct-taped together and the bulbs were hanging down. I took a picture of it as it struck me funny at first and then just plain tacky. Last but certainly not least, the water in the shower barely was hot...it was warm, but not hot. Yet the sink water was scalding hot.

I was here for business. I did notice that the hotel is getting a makeover, and there was some new people at the front desk that seemed to give a rip about the speed of the internet which was my main complaint before.

I was expecting customer service when I checked in and what I got was a very wonderful experience from the moment I checked in I was only there for the night but I was welcomed in by the staff it was very clean amd inviting if I ever am in the same city I plan to stay in the same hotel

We were staying in Cary NC to watch our daughter run in her Atlantic Regional X/C meet for her college. The hotel was nice and people were friendly, however the spa was out of order and the breakfast was not included. The hotel owners have converted what looks like it was a typical continental breakfast area into a "restaraunt" style set-up. It was $10.95 for the meal. We did not eat at the hotel because we felt that was kind of pricey after the $138.00 price tag to sleep there. The good news is, there are plenty of clean, fast and friendly full service restaraunts nearby, i.e. Bob Evans, Ruby Tuesday's etc. The pictures on the website deceive you. I know we witnessed several people during check-out that were not satisfied.

The hotel was very nice. It was clean and the rooms were very well suited for business stays. The TVs were a little "1990s" (small, poor picture and sound). The showers were hot, the coffee downstairs was good stuff. I would suggest they talk a little more about the breakfast, I couldn't find a thing about it and the way that you aren't guaranteed breakfast in some places...threw me off. The staff was top-notch and very friendly. I stayed a few doors down from the smoking section and wouldn't have ever known it.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The staff was friendly - especially the waiter in the restaurant. It was a good location - close to local shopping and restaurants.

was not exspecting the niceness or quality of hotel for the name Holiday Inn... but loved and and would stay again.

This hotel was as excellent facility. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The location was quiet and in a beautiful setting. Checkin in and out was problem free and the staff was professional. I would hihgly recommend.
