Free Wi-Fi and access to nearby fitness centers are main draws
Travelers target Hampton Inn Cary for its suburban location near multiple office parks, Research Triangle Park and WakeMed Cary Center. Clean, comfortable rooms are equipped with modern conveniences, from Wi-Fi access to lap and work desks. Not much to brag about...
Internet service was very weak. Hotel is aging and in need of makeover. Breakfast was shut down when I went down at 10:25 on a Saturday morning. I thought that was ridiculous for a weekend. I know they all like to shut those breakfast down early to save money while enticing you to stay with "free breakfast". One of the electrical outlets wasn't working when I tried to plug in the iron, which was frustrating trying to figure out what was going on. They did have change for a $20.00 and matches when I needed them at 2:00 a.m., but I also witnessed an interesting situation unfold where a woman had been given a room (key) at 2:00 a.m. only to find the room occupied which I have rarely seen happen. She was a little freaked out as was the room occupnat I would guess. This didn't impove my confidence. Nice little smoking area outside covered in trees with park benches. Room was cleaned well and all else was fine.

Pretty good stay
My wife and I came to Raleigh, NC for an art show that she appeared in and needed an affordable place to stay for three nights. Hampton Inn provided a really great place to relax and beat the heat. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, the pool was clean and large enough to have fun in, the location was nice and very close to an expressway, and the room was clean. I really liked the set up in the bathroom for the towels and the cleaning crew offered to come back later in the day if you had a do not disturb sign on the door. Overall, great experience, however it has been a week and I still haven't received back the $50 hold on my checking account for extras like movies and long distance phone calls. My wife and I didn't make any extra charges, so we're definitely wondering what is taking so long... We would go back next time we're down that way. :-)

Just a little up the road and to the right is a shopping center with a Walmart in it if you have forgotten to bring any supplies from home.

Hotel Diva!!
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!
My husband and I had an EXCELLENT stay at this Hampton Inn. They had our room ready early, and the pool was wonderful!! The rooms were extremely CLEAN and and the interior decor was very contemporary. The service was helpful and polite.

Avid Traveler
Acceptable for a quick overnight stay
We were attending a wedding in Cary, and weren't looking for anything flash, just a clean affordable place to spend the night after the wedding. I like that I'm guaranteed the same general service at any Hampton property. The building is a bit older, but the room was clean with modern updates and quiet. The breakfast was good with lots of options and they even had locally made baked goods!
