Raleigh hotel tempts with cooked-to-order breakfast in tropical atrium

With Crabtree Valley Mall across the street, Embassy Suites Raleigh is bound to lure shoppers, but other amenities appeal to travelers even if purchases are not on the agenda. The all-suite hotel operates a free shuttle to and from Raleigh International Airport and sites within a three-mile radius. The atrium – a an airy, plant-filled center – hosts diners for a cooked-to-order breakfast every day. Recreation options cover an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and fitness center.

Highlights
  • Cooked-to-order breakfast
  • All-suite hotel with separate bedroom and lounge areas in every room
  • Across from Crabtree Valley Mall
  • Free shuttle service to and from Raleigh International Airport and within a three-mile radius
  • Pool and fitness center
Location
Embassy Suites Raleigh attracts shoppers who plan to visit Crabtree Valley Mall, which is across the street. The hotel also operates a free shuttle to and from Raleigh-Durham International Airport and points within a three-mile radius.
Dining

Embassy Suites Raleigh creates an elegant space in which to dine at The Bistro and Bar, an expansive restaurant focusing on American fare. An oversized carpet boasting an intricate pattern matches the heavy wood furniture and partition around the room, while soaring ceilings enhance the ambiance. A neighboring bar invites guests to enjoy cocktails before or after dinner.  A tropical atrium marks the spot where guests meet every day for the cooked-to-order breakfast.

Recreation
An indoor fitness center equipped with cardio machines and weights allows guests to stick to their exercise routine at Embassy Suites Raleigh. An indoor pool is also a favorite; after visitors swim laps, they soak in the Jacuzzi, where light streams in through the atrium walls.

8 night business trip

I've used the same hotel in the past and I will continue to use it unless they put the prices up too much. The room I had was the king-size suite, comes with a decent living space with 42" TV, kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom with 42" TV. The breakfast is good, eggs cooked to order, and although the pool and gym are small they are good size for a business stay. The hotel is largely quiet but even when there are groups of people/kids runing about the building is solid enough that you still get all the peace and quiet you need. I'd recommend it for sure.

Good for the price

The trip was good but the only part that was bad about the trip was the check in. We checked in and our room was taken. They said that our room was reserved but there no garuntee that even though we made pervious reservations; it depends on availability. They gave us another room that was a king but it wasn't a corner suite like I ordered. Besides that the breakfast was excellent.
