overpriced for what you get
This dump is basically a truck stop with 18 wheelers parked in the front occupying auto parking spaces. The tub drain backep up. Cleanliness is next to nill. The North Carolina gave this place a 90% cleanliness rating. If you live in the Carolinas this is a pretty low rating. I guess, if you have to stay overnight in Raleigh, you will need to pay more $$ for standard motel/hotel amenities. I would question the hotel star ratings of orbitz anytime.

Not great for handicapped people
This hotel has no elevator and there were stairs everywhere. I had a feeling that the better rooms were on the 2nd floor, but there were 2 flights of steep stairs in order to get there. Our vehicle had broken down the day we were supposed to check in and had already paid for 2 nights. We only stayed the 1 night after our car was fixed and we were able to make it there. So, it was a bit of a disappointment not to have a better experience after a troubled journey. However, all in all, not a bad hotel. Even if you are not handicapped....don't bring a lot of luggage...because the stairs will kill you if you have much to carry. We even thought that perhaps another entrance would be easier, but there were long staircases at those entrances as well. This is obviously an older hotel and everything is not completely up to date, but it was clean and comfortable.

Hotel made our stay very pleasant
While moving our son to college the hotel offered a clean quiet place to rest during the move . We got an excellant nights rest and a very good breakfast was available the next morning. Would use the hotel any time we stayed in the Raleigh area.

we have stayed at this hotel every year as we have a family reunion on topsail island. we book the suite and find our room to be spacious and always clean. i have never been disappointed with our visits to this hotal and would recommend it to anyone. they have a nice continential breakfast, wifi and a outdoor pool. the cost per night is very reasonable. love it. r from utah

Great Value!
Very clean and well-maintained, manicured grounds, nicely appointed room, security locks fully functional, attractive pool, free wireless that worked first time, actually looks just like the pictures. For an entrepreneur who travels on a tight budget, this place was a pleasure. Check websites other than Best Western for best price. Liked: Rooms, Service, Location, Value
