Courtyard by Marriott Carolina Beach

Loved indoor and outdoor pool, directly on the beach, walking distance to restaurants. All rooms are oceanfront. Great food also. Great beach stay!

This was a great trip! The hotel was a perfect location. Being right on the beach was so relaxing and the hotel was very kid friendly. I can't wait to come back!!

Very nice 2 day stay, weather was great, veiw was great.

If I had to find fault it would be the entrance to the parking lot off the street, without GPS or being there before its an easy miss. Coming from the main land its past the hotel. Other than that there is nothing bad to say about the hotel only good. Sue at checkin was fabulous, the room spacious and well designed. Dual bathroom area was the size of some motel rooms, the main area behind a lockable door and a changing/ primping area in the hall leading there. Mini fridge and K cup maker. Seperate shampoo and conditioner lets you get your hair just right. Real full time non smoking hotel- Yes, there is a huge difference between non smoking rooms and the entire hotel. Got to go back in the summer, outdoor pool, deck, beach, boardwalk and the whole community are all open then- let me rephrase, the hotel has an indoor pool & hot tub, the big outside one was also open but in mid Feb a little cold for swimming.

This hotel was a fantastic find! The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The restaurant downstairs was magnificent, and the view was amazing. I couldn't have asked for more! Would stay here every time!

We had a sleepless vacation at this Marriott. The famly next door to us had 2 little kids that screamed all the time. They were up till midnight every night and back up early every morning. We tried to run the AC to drown out the noise, but it didn't help much. We banged on the wall and asked them to lower their noise level, but they did nothing to keep their kids quiter. Frustrating!

The staff here is just amazing! They were so accommodating and super nice! The hotel is right on the beach and is totally worth staying here! I would go back again!

The hotel is located right on the beach which makes beach trips to and from the room easy. The housekeeping services are lacking greatly. For at least 3 out of the 5 days we stayed, our room had not been cleaned yet and it was after 3pm. We had to call the management to complain each time which prompted staff to arrive shortly thereafter. The hotel is located next to an amusement area which definitely has some shady characters hanging out by the rides and small shops. The indoor pool is very small and there are kids in it constantly with no adult supervision. The Starbucks located in the hotel is a major plus!

We checked in early, only had to wait a few minutes for a room. The manager gave us a room that included a hot tub! So much better than sharing downstairs. We had one problem: they didn't check us in right, so they didn't know who was in our room and they called because maintenance dropped by and saw our "Do Not Disturb" on the room door. It scared us that they called asking for our name, so when I asked at the front desk to see what was up, they explained and then gave us a breakfast buffet pass for me and my girlfriend. This hotel is on the beach, you literally walk downstairs and you're there. The room is well stocked, the breakfast at the hotel was delicious, it's within walking distance to tons of restaurants. The hotel is also only about 4 miles from the aquarium, museum, and a marina if you want a boat tour. The staff at this hotel were super nice; it was a good experience. They were definitely going all out to make sure we had a good vacation. I always dropped by the front desk to ask for recommendations for food and activities, boat schedule, etc. and they had answers for me quickly and happily. I would definitely book here again. People have done some negative reviews about this place elsewhere, but they're seriously just petty complaints, usually about things that couldn't be helped. The value for the price is pretty good, and for a balcony, beachfront, ocean view with a whirlpool it couldn't be beat. My only complaint is the beds were a little hard for me, my back felt bad in the morning when I woke up. Hopefully they'll refresh the beds with new ones soon enough. I wish hotels would buy two or three kinds of mattresses with varied firmness and let you request your preference. But, minor complaint - I usually don't sleep good in beds that aren't mine anyway, so don't let that dissuade you.

Great vacation for the 5 of us that went. beautiful Beach and hotel was nice. We did have a smell in our room that must have been vomite but was cleaned up.... We needed a roll away bed and was not a problem. We ate at Dennys with our 2 kids and was good food and service. We are already planning our return trip to your hotel.
