Motel 6 Burlington NC

The lobby looked better than expected for a 35 dollar a night place. I had booked a king room but nine where available. After they said one was not aviilabl...-nd I said I didn't want another room they found one. (huh?) walked into th room. Looked in. The smell of urine filled te air. I told them and they said the were sending the maids to spray it down. The maids said they can't get the smell out of here. (why rent it then) she told me stories of dead cats and kittens in other rooms. Mattress was from the 80s, comforter had cigerate burns and there was an ashtray beside the bed in a non smoking room. Don't come here. Spend 10 more bucks and go across the street.

All right blankets was ripped and smelled funny and ddnt clean shower well

they dont tell you that you have to pay for internet the continential breakfast turned out to be only coffee

We stayed due to being through 4 states in 2 days we were exhausted and I needed to do some homework and catch some much needed sleep. When we arrived at the hotel the lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. We were assigned first to room 221 and left to go to our room. We went to our room we left our stuff in the car to check out the room as I usually do. I went in and I always check the bath tub and toilet first when I walked in and turned on the light in bathroom I saw a bug run so I caught and killed it. Then checked the tub and toilet which was clean the my husband killed another bug crawling up the wall. He then advised me that it was cock roaches. I was so upset that we had killed 2 the 5 more so I called the front desk and they moved us to room 309. Room 309 was finally bug free and clean. The drawers for clothes had marker in them and rubbed off on my clothes. When I went to get on the internet I coulnt so I called the front desk to be advised that I had to pay for it. I was shocked because MOST ALL hotel/motels today give FREE WIFI....Over all after the roaches I was okay and got the much needed rest but was uneasy and scared about bugs!!!!!

Motel 6 in Burlington,NC was a good place for the money. It was in a good location . The things that were missing were the small things you never think about untill they are't there. CLOCK, SHAMPOO, PAMPLETS about the area an things to see. COFFEE MAKER, PAPER TABLET for messages. On our fourth of five day stay our room did not get cleaned or the bed made .

The desk person was very friendly and efficient, and the location was convenient to where we needed to be that evening and the next morning. The room appeared to be clean, but it had a strange smell(like pet pee!) Overall, for 2 teachers on a budget who were only getting paid $100 each for a day and half conference 2 hours from home...it was a great value!

reserved a non smoking room, but when we checked in to the room there was a used ash tray and a heavy smell of smoke, went back to the counter and was given another room and same thing, and room was filthy, went back to the office again and were switched one last time this time the manager told us it was out of his control if this room was bad?? out of his control?? 3rd room smelled of mold, had cigarette burns in the comforters, and a huge stain on the rug. I would not reccomend anyone stay at this motel as it was a terrible overall experience.

This hotel was located right off of the highway and it's scary when you look out and see an 18-wheeler close to ur hotel. Additionally, the room STUNK< there was a big spider on the wall, the sheets, blankets and linens were NOT clean and when I called to ask for an additional towels/cloths, the front desk staff said "We don't have any more" and I was appauled by that! In addition to that, there were so many loiterers, loud music and thugs hanging in the area that it practically made it unsafe to come out of your room!

Satisfactory, although in this day and age, even Motel 6 should provide a coffe pot.

The hotel was a good value, but a little noisy from the nearby interstate.
