Comfortable Boone hotel convenient to Appalachian State University

Great place to spend the night !
We were pleasantly surprised at the patience that the staff showed us since we couldn't get there until midnight. The room was clean, quiet, well-lit in the bathroom, great location to Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. The breakfast room was clean and offered a substantial selection of food. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly. We would highly recommend this site to our friends or anybody else.

Dirty Room
Mildew on the wall. salsa (hopefully) on room service guide, tequilla stickers on lamp, clothing tag on bed (possibly bed wasn't changed?), cold water in bathroom sink inop. I could go on and on. Staff was nice but did not consider even partial refund of $130 per night cost.

Nice and comfy
The staff was pleasant and friendly, rooms were and well stocked and the coffee was actually good in the lobby. Wifi was speedy.

Next to a craft beer and wine store named Peabody's, great place. As well right down the road from several great diners, shoppes, outdoor retailers and a cute music shop.

Wonderful Stay
This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel in Boone. It is perfect, not to fancy but overall the price can't be beat and we were comfortable.

wonderfull stay w/ trouble
we went and listen to the Appalachian Philharmonia,we had a child playing in it.the Hot water went out at 10:30PM that night and the hotel offered to find and move us to a different hotel in Boone and pay the difference, but we stayed. at check out they gave us 25% back on the rate we paid thru [...].
