It was a $79 night hotel
The hotel did seem new and the lobby very nice. When we got to the room it "appeared" clean until I started to settle in after being there for a while. First, the bed was not made -- it looked like a small child just attempted to make it by pulling the spread on top and not touching the covers/sheets underneath -- sheet was hanging out unevened on the floor. The pillows looked like there was still a head impression on one of them. When I went to take a shower, I had to throw out 2 bars of used soap first -- that just makes me wonder if the shower was cleaned at all. The shower also makes a terrible squeeking sound the entire time you are in it because the floor is not supported properly. Also, not one piece of furniture in the room matches and none of it looks new. The TV is also very out of date with terrible color/sound-- not even a flat screen.

Helpful and Friendly Staff
Although we initially had trouble with hotel keys working to unlock the door, the staff was very helpful and remedied this problem rather quickly. It was disappointing that the pool area was closed during our stay but they sent us to a nearby hotel and we were able to use their pool area. The helpful staff made up for the downfalls of the hotel.

Earth Fare is a health food store nearby and it had excellent food for those on business and on the go.

Pretty pretty jenny
Just not the best service for the price.
Our room was not taken care of properly. The beds were not made up in the usual manner. The carpet didn't get vacummed for 2 days,until we reported it to the front desk employees. Bad location, no left turn out of parking lot. We had to go to the right and find a place to turn around every time we went out to shop or eat. Te mattress was the best part of our stay.

First class service
site seeing, visited grandfather mountain and blue ridge parkway and enjoyed very much. Also wonderfull eating places around.
