convenient to Biltmore entrance. Concierge recommended best restaurants in Biltmore Village section of Asheville. Suite was ... wonderful... a true value for the money. Would stay there again and recommend to friends without reservation.

The room was huge, very clean and modern. It's a condo, so like a small home. Flat screen TV, washer and dryer, the works. ... Just nothing to do there. no resteraut or anything. Just a great room.

Very good experience.

We were upgraded (for free) from a studio to a one bedroom. We are pretty discerning, and travel a lot on business, and both ... my wife and I were really impressed with our accomodations. The "room" had a large living room, dining area, full-size kitchen, gigantic bathroom and bedroom. Everything was tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It took us five minutes from arrival to be checked in and get to our room. The location was good, central between the Biltmore area and downtown. Finally, the price was reasonable. My one substantive complaint about the property is that the room was noisier than I would have liked. We could hear the people in the room above us moving around and using the plumbing. This property was recommended to us by some friends, and after staying there, we would highly recommend it to others.

Wal-Mart was a quick 10 minute ride. It was a Super Wal-Mart and I was able to get some meds so that was a relief. Ask the concierge for details.

I was sick but...
Al Mill Aug 9, 2009
My experience at The Residences at Biltmore could have been so much more but I enjoyed none the less. It was within 5 min to ... the gates of the Biltmore. A little longer to ride up to the mansion. Heading downtown was similarly easy and there were ample parking lots. I got sick before I came to Asheville so I drank tea and watched tv for the majority of time I was there. I would definitely come back. Its quite an artsy town. Also, there was complimentary wifi which was such a surprise.

This is the best place to stay in Asheville. I have stayed at the Inn on Biltmore and would rather stay here. NICE full ... kitchen-they even do your dishes!!! Awesome REAL coffee. Only thing lacking is there is not really a view and its a little noisy. But, for the rate we got ($149/night) would stay here again!! VERY clean suites as well.

Because we visited Asheville during peak season, rates were high all over town. I think that the price we paid for this room ... matched the level of amenities. Great pool with sparkling, clear water and a view of the sunset over the mountains. Kitchen and laundry facilities in the room are great for families. Location is very convenient to the Biltmore, Biltmore Village and downtown Asheville.

The bad: No sound proofing at all. You hear every step of the folks above you. Also, the floors needed a good scrub. Bugs ... found dying in the kitchen each morning. Good: Rooms are tastefully decorated and staff was very helpful.

The Biltmore Estate is a great tour. It takes about 2.5 hours with an audio guide. Go early in the morning and eat lunch at the winery after the free tour/tasting. The entire estate and grounds are well maintained. It's interesting to see how the other half lived during the Gilded Age.

Don't waste your money!
preppy05 Feb 24, 2009
For starters, if you have ongoing construction going on all the time with a property, dont you let the consumer know in some ... form? There were all kinds of vehicles outside out suite making noise at like 6 am each morning. The room was nice as far as a room goes. They had advertised they have a pool but it was under construction when we went. The hotel staff told us we could use the pool across the street, how tacky! This was a very expensive hotel to be in and wasnt worth the money!

Great place to stay
jefferson Jan 1, 2008
The residences at the Biltmore was the most comfortable place I think I have ever stayed for the price!! It was very large ... with everything you could ask for out of a hotel/suite room. I really liked the bathroom which had more than plenty of room for two people, not to mention the very spacious walk in shower. It had a kitchen that had a full size fridge with all the bells and whistles. It was definitely like being at a home away from home. The staff was very helpful in making sure that we were comfortable and even made dinner reservations and called for transportation to and from the hotel. I would recomend the residences to anyone and I will definitely stay there the next time I'm in Asheville....I just wish every place I stayed could be as nice as this was. The Residences has definitely set high standards for other hotel chains to live up to!!

The Residences is very close to great dining, nightlife/bars, shopping and sight seeing. It couldnt be in a better proximity of everything one needs to be comfortable.
