Budget hotel near Asheville Mall with free breakfast and free Wi-Fi
Complimentary continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi are provided at the Super 8 Asheville. A fitness center is also available. The hotel provides convenient access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, designated an All-American Road by the United States Department of Transportation. Nearby Asheville Mall features casual dining and department and specialty stores. The Super 8 Asheville is two miles from downtown attractions such as the Asheville Civic Center and Grove Arcade.

Basic, Well-Maintained Accommodations
The Super 8 in Asheville is very basic, but well-maintained lodging. The hotel is older, but the lobby looks like it had been redone recently. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable and only slightly noisy if you are facing the road. There are places to eat nearby. This is certainly not luxury accommodation, but I would recommend it if your intent is to see the area and have a simple room to return to. My experience here was good.

Anyone not from the area should know that it is not extremely close to downtown and not near the Biltmore. That said, nothing in the area is really that far away it's a great deal for anyone trying to get close to downtown but staying on a budget.

It was terrible. I am so thankful we didn't have our kids with us b/c I would have not let them stay in this place. The first room that we were given was unfinished, very dirty, had urine in the toilet and had holes in the walls. I don't think anyone even cleaned it before we got there.

Unhappy teacher
Very disappointed
This motel was advertised as being new (2008). It most definitely was not new. The bathtub was blue, 1970's blue. Maybe, Super 8 took over in 2008[...]. There were many transitory workers staying at the motel, and they were constantly hanging over the balconies and staring at us. I did not feel safe to leave the room without my husband.

This was a clean and reasonably priced place. However, the directions and phone number on the chains web page were not correct, so it may take a bit of work to find the place!

Asheville 9-2010
Didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping and getting dressed. Downsides: soda machine but no snack machine, clock didn't work, one of the lights stopped working, and the bathroom is designed with the toilet next to the tub and the toilet paper is about 2 feet away on the wall. We also had to wait about 20 minutes to check in b/c no one was in the front lobby. Good points: Beds were comfortable and the room included a microwave and fridge.

pleasant stay
We thought this was a good location..about a mile from downtown Asheville. The price was right, and the staff were friendly.

we went to Barley's for pizza and some very interesting beer. We tried a beer that had a toasted coconut flavor. Great pizza, great beer, friendly service

frig in room did not work, neither of two ice machines worked, had juice machine at continental breakfast but no juice.
