Clean and nice room. Friendly staff. Just the flat TV was too high. As the others review, the breakfast was good.

We arrived shortly before midnight, and the clerk was more than helpful in answering questions. She genuinely seemed happy to see us, even at the late hour. Checking in was no problem, room was clean and the air conditioning worked! Breakfast was more than I could have hoped for, and started off our day well.

Went to visit Biltmore house. Hotel was excellent! very clean, staff was super nice. They gave great advice on where to eat and shop

The hotel staff was very accomadating and friendly we had a easy checkin and a easier check out. The hotel was very clean and conviently located. There was a train as noted in several other reviews but it was in no way a bother or disruption. We were there for four days and maybe heard it 3 times. However we were awake, had we been asleep we wouldnt have even noticed. The only qualm I had was that all the showers were stand up no bath tubs and my 3 year old is better in a bath than a shower, also the beds were a little less comfortable than I like. But over all a great a experience and I would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel because we had a previously wonderful experience. BUT in this instance [...] booked a smoking room when we checked the NON-SMOKING room box and and 11:30 PM with two very tired children it was NOT a pleasant experience to have to sleep in a smoking room in a hotel that was less than cooperative in making amends. While it was the fault of [...]the hotel refused to even make an effort to make it right...poor showing!

It served the purpose - an ok price and a good location for us. Within good distance of good food.

We have stayed here twice and couldn't ask for more. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Although small, the room is exactly what we need; a place to bath, sleep and relax.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast had a good variety of food.

I was in town to visit friends and family. The shower was cold all the way through the first morning, the second morning it started out nice, then went cold halfway through. The bed was blissfully comfy, with several smaller pillows instead of a couple of large ones. I don't sleep well, so I sleep with earplugs, which I would highly recommend, because when I was up during the night, I heard a train, a dumpster being emptied, and the man on the other side of the wall snoring loudly. The staff was friendly, and the free breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from. I may or may not stay there again- it would've been fine except for the cold shower.

The overall experience was great. Location was perfect, just minutes from downtown and The Biltmore Estate. There was a nice breakfast bar. The only complaint is the noise from our neighbors. Walls are thin and we could hear everything, though not the hotels fault.
